They claimed a derby triumph in their low-scoring Division Two tussle away at Marchwiel and Wrexham, who were dismissed for 77. Three wickets apiece went the way of Nathan Humphreys, Tom Parry and Tom Davies. Earlier in the day, Marchwiel's Phil Oddie (3-11) and Sam Shoemark (3-13) impressed as Llay were all out for 111. Maximum points went the way of Buckley following their thumping 115-run triumph against Pwllheli. Carl Jutson (46), Jack Whitley (44) and Rocco Franco (36) were the main contributors as Buckley got to 202 for nine in their 40 overs. Adam Shaw (3-3), Matthew Blunden (3-17) and Ollie Fellows (3-19) then took centre stage to bowl Pwllheli out for 87. Carmel & District's lengthy trek to Menai Bridge Seconds was a worthwhile one as they returned with a hefty 94-run triumph. Ryan Roberts' knock of 30 spear-headed a number of double-figure efforts as Carmel compiled 172 all out (Sean Morris 5-34). Amer Jamil finished with a fantastic 5-9 return in Bridge's 78 all out. It was a tough start for Pontblyddyn Seconds, who succumbed to a 10-wicket reverse at Corwen. Jordan Williams snaffled a magnificent 7-9 in Pontblyddyn's 35 all out, with Corwen responding with 38 without loss (Rob Storey 33 not out). Elsewhere, Abergele got the better of St Asaph Seconds by six wickets. Aron Hughes hit 50 not out as Llanrwst eased to an eight-wicket win at Ruthin. Mold Seconds' Division Three tilt opened in promising fashion via a 119-run margin of victory at home to Conwy Seconds. Joseff Roberts (42), David Graham (40) and Liam Roberts (33 not out) hit the ground running in Mold's imposing 213 for eight. Conwy's response finished on 94 for nine, as Thomas Garratt grabbed 3-3. Three wickets each also went the way of Dan Jones and Craig Roberts. A good effort from Gwersyllt Park Seconds resulted in a six-wicket home triumph against Bethesda Seconds, who were bowled out for 94 (Ben Griffiths 4-41). Park then eased their way to 95 for four. Buckley Seconds secured a five-wicket success at Abergele Seconds. Three wickets apiece from Joe Hogg and Tim Pool did the bulk of the damage as Abergele were dismissed for 83, before Buckley responded with 87 for five. Despite a sparking century from skipper George Morris, Gresford Seconds lost out by seven wickets at Denbigh Seconds. Mighty Morris cracked 108 not out in Gresford's 165 for six, but Andy Thomas' knock of 63 helped Denbigh to a winning 167 for three (Matthew McCarthy 2-19).
