Tommy Hilfiger launches new line Tommy Girl with a link-up with Aleali May
has unveiled his latest capsule, Tommy Girl, an offshoot from his Tommy Jeans collection, developed by Aleali May as a creative consultant. Tommy Girl was originally launched as a fragrance, but its spirit continues in this kicky, students-on-vacation collection made in the brand's signature colors of red, white and blue. 'For me, Tommy Girl has always been a movement, an attitude that defined one generation and continues to evolve with the next… It's not about nostalgia, but about celebrating every girl's way of being herself without compromise,' added May of her debut fashion collab. A collection trumpeted in its fresh, sporty and active ad campaign, which stars IVE's Jang Won-young, Samara Cyn, Lindsay Vrckovnik, Eniola Abioro, and May – an all-around It Girl, influencer and footwear designer. Shot by Clara Balzary, the 2025 campaign showcases the new Tommy Girl as a raw, fearless, happening member of the new generation, attired in assertive silhouettes. 'Tommy Girl empowered a generation to embrace confidence and individuality. Together with Aleali May, we've reimagined the elements that made the style iconic – bright graphics, oversized denim and vibrant color – and infused them with a fresh energy for a new era,' added founder and creative director Tommy Hilfiger. Collection highlights include a varsity jacket in cotton twill paired with a frayed denim mini skirt, while a shrunken tee, bandeau top and dungaree dress nod to throwback silhouettes. Saltwater denim washes from the California coast and satin star badges bring archive energy into sharp focus, while a rugby shirt and trucker jacket echo classic prep, made bolder. Each girl brings her own distinct take to the Tommy Girl attitude. Jang Won-young joins the campaign following her recent welcome to the Tommy family as Tommy Jeans brand ambassador and appearance as Elle Hong Kong cover star. Abioro, a former kindergarten teacher from Lagos, is the first Nigerian model to walk for Prada. Founded in 1985, Tommy Hilfiger is now the largest single brand within PVH, one of the world's biggest fashion companies and the owner of Calvin Klein. In 2023, the brand reported global retail sales of about $9 billion. Tommy Hilfiger employs 16,000 people worldwide, operates in 100 countries, and runs over 2,000 retail stores. The Tommy Girl Spring 2025 collection is available on in Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, and via select wholesale partners.

PVH CEO Stefan Larsson's Pay Rises to $16.3M
Stefan Larsson, chief executive officer of PVH Corp., saw his compensation package increase 4.3 percent to $16.3 million last year. Most of that came in the form of stock and option awards, which were valued at a total of $11.6 million, although the actual payout will depend on how PVH's shares perform, linking Larsson's pay to the shareholder's pocketbook. More from WWD Tommy Hilfiger Taps K-Pop Star Jang Won-Young as Brand Ambassador and Star of Tommy Jeans Campaign David Savman Named Calvin Klein Global Brand President as Eva Serrano Exits Safilo Posts Q1 Growth Amid Supply Chain Diversification and Resilient European Market The CEO also received a salary of $1.4 million and incentive pay of $2.8 million. Larsson took the helm of PVH in 2021 and is in the midst of thoroughly remaking the company. The Heritage Brands division was spun off, the longtime licensing deal with G-III Apparel Group is being unwound and the company is focusing all of its attention on supercharging the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein businesses with its PVH+ strategic plan. 'Everything starts with product, and we further improved the relevance and sell-through of our fall 2024 assortment across both brands,' Larsson said in a letter to shareholders detailing the company's progress on its plan. 'We stood up our global product kitchen for Calvin Klein and created a very strong product assortment for Tommy Hilfiger, which launches in fall 2025. 'We connected both Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger to the zeitgeist through our marketing, while continuing to elevate our presence in the marketplace across channels,' he said. Last week, PVH made a big change atop Calvin Klein, naming David Savman global brand president. Savman, who had been global head of operations and chief supply chain officer, took over from Eva Serrano, who had been in the brand's top job for just over two years. While the brand has been taking on a higher profile, with splashy ad campaigns featuring Bad Bunny, Jeremy Allen White and Kendall Jenner, it took longer than expected for it to transition to a 'global product kitchen' approach, causing delays. Aurora police searching for teen who escaped custody near detention center
DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police are searching for a teenager who escaped from officers as they were walking him to a patrol car near the Aurora Detention Center. The Aurora Police Department in an X post Sunday afternoon said there is a large police presence in the neighborhood north of the detention center, in the area of South Evanston Way and South Chambers Road, as officers search for the 16-year-old. FOX31 Newsletters: Sign up to get breaking news sent to your inbox He was last seen wearing a green shirt with the words 'Tommy Jeans' written in blue and white letters, black pants and black shoes. He also has multiple neck tattoos, police said. The police department said that the teen is a Hispanic male, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown shaggy/curly hair. The agency said he is missing a shoe, 'and should still be handcuffed.' At 3:20 p.m., police provided further information about the incident and said the teen had not yet been located, but that the drone team was assisting in the search. A CodeRED reverse 911 was issued to the nearby area requesting a shelter in place, but it was intended to be a 'be on the lookout and call 911 if you see anything suspicious,' not a shelter in place. An Aurora police spokesperson said officers initially contacted the teen at around 10 a.m. in reference to a stolen vehicle, and he had outstanding warrants for motor vehicle theft and eluding. Police said anyone who sees anything suspicious or the teen should call 911 or 303-627-3100. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
