Educator Honor Roll: Tonitia Butler, Central High School
FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) — Many teachers across the Tennessee Valley go above and beyond for their students, and we want to recognize them — with our Education Honor Roll!
This week, we want to introduce you to Tonitia Butler, a teacher at Central High School.
Those who nominated her said she is so much more to the students and faculty and their families than just the Spanish teacher. They said she is a devoted teacher who cares so much for her students and the community.
Educator Honor Roll: Demaris Hale, Lincoln County High School
'She is always there to lend an ear to her students and guide them when needed. Mrs. Butler is also the sponsor of student council, peers for life, Scholars Bowl, junior high honor society, peer helper and was previously the yearbook sponsor!' those who nominated her said.
