Eligible American taxpayers who did not claim the 'Recovery Rebate Credit' on their 2021 tax returns can receive up to a $1,400 stimulus check per individual on the return. The IRS announced in December they would be issuing the stimulus checks after finding out that so many eligible taxpayers did not claim it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), for the first time ever, announced they have lowered the recommended age for adults to receive a pneumonia vaccine from 65 down to 50. The lowered age is intended to protect against pneumococcal disease at the age when it is most dangerous. Also, medical specialists are now suggesting adults get a measles vaccine booster shot.
