Cha Eun Woo enlistment: Hong Suk Chun cries over idol's military service - Here's what happened

Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO recently joined the military on July 28 as a part of his mandatory service. He is expected to return by January 2027. His temporary departure from the industry has left his fans as well as other celebrities sad. Actor Hong Suk Chun expressed his emotions about the idol-turned-actor's departure, and cried about how he was missing him. Hong Suk Chun cries over Eun Woo's enlistment On July 29, a day after Eun Woo officially enlisted, the actor appeared on a popular variety show called ' Top Gay Box '. Right from the start, he was emotional about the singer's departure, and had passed comments like "Do you know what day July 28 is?" after which he had to ask for a tissue to stop himself from getting emotional. While crying, the actor kept saying, 'He is gone, he's left us', and then continued to say, "My Cha Eun Woo is gone', which made everyone on the show realise what he had been referring to with the date. The show's host, Ddol-ddol , empathised with him while offering more tissues to the actor. He also shared, "It makes sense for you to cry. You begged Cha Eun Woo so much to appear on 'Top Gay Box,' and yet he's gone without visiting'. In an bout to cheer up the actor, the host invited another guest on the show, introducing him by saying, "I have another man with a striking face. Before Eun Woo went to join the military, he sent me a huge gem my way'. Another ASTRO member, Sanha , ended up being the surprise guest that Eun Woo had sent to the show! Suk Chan then expressed his well-wishes to Eun Woo, and said,' Eun Woo, I'll still be doing 'Top Gay Box' until January 2027, so you must come on as soon as you're discharged'.
