Nikki Garcia breaks silence on brutal divorce payout to Artem Chigvintsev... and where they really stand now
Nikki Garcia isn't holding back when it comes to her costly divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. The former WWE star, 41, opened up about her recent court-ordered settlement on Thursday, revealing she was forced to shell out $200,000 of her 'hard-earned money' in spousal support to her ex, Dancing with the Stars pro Chigvintsev, 42. The judge also ordered Garcia—formerly known as Nikki Bella—to pay $3,500 a month in child support for their 4-year-old son, Matteo. The pair will split the cost of his extracurriculars moving forward, and custody will be shared, according to court documents. Speaking candidly on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, the reality star confirmed the terms of her split from Artem — and gave fans an honest update on where things stand between them now. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000. Spousal support, alimony,' she said, as twin sister Brie chimed in, 'That's what happens when you're the breadwinner.' But according to Nikki, the $200K payout didn't leave her bitter — in fact, she shocked listeners by admitting she 'got a steal' in the deal. 'Which is crazy to say,' she added. The Total Bellas star also revealed a jaw-dropping comment from the judge who oversaw their private mediation. 'Our judge said at the end of it, "This is the first time in all the years I've done this where a woman had to pay a man,"' Nikki recalled. '"You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it."' The comment hit hard — but also struck a nerve of pride. 'It was nice to hear that… even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money,' she said. 'That money, all that is my hard-earned money.'' Nikki added she promised the judge that any future husband will be signing a prenup. As for the $3,500 a month in child support, Nikki said she's fine with it — because it's all about Matteo. 'Child support is so the child could have an equal life in both homes,' she explained. 'I don't even think twice about it… that is making sure Matteo is also 50/50, half of his other time is a good life.' Despite the split and drama, Nikki said she and Artem are finally in a solid place. 'We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo's life so amazing, and I don't want it any other way.' She also made it clear that their divorce had 'nothing to do' with the highly publicized incident in August 2024, when Artem was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Napa County. No charges were filed. Artem later told People he was 'incredibly relieved and grateful' that the case was dropped. 'This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.' The DWTS pro emphasized his focus remains on fatherhood, calling Matteo 'the greatest blessing' and pledging to continue providing 'the love, support, and care he needs' as they move forward.

Will There Be a 'Total Divas' Reboot? Nikki and Brie Bella Speak Out
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Nikki Bella and twin sister Brie Bella have spoken out about a Total Divas reboot on their podcast. During Saturday's live episode of The Nikki & Brie Show at WrestleMania, the professional wrestlers called on Netflix to renew the series. Newsweek reached out to Nikki Bella and Brie Bella's representative via email for comment. The Context Total Divas was a reality TV show on E! that ran from 2013 to 2019. It followed the personal and professional lives of female World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars, including the Bellas. Brie Bella (left) and Nikki Bella (right) promote their show "Total Divas" at Planet Hollywood Times Square on March 13, 2014, in New York City. Brie Bella (left) and Nikki Bella (right) promote their show "Total Divas" at Planet Hollywood Times Square on March 13, 2014, in New York City. Daniel Zuchnik/WireImage In March 2019, the sisters announced their retirement from the WWE on their Total Divas spinoff, Total Bellas. Their careers, however, predate the shows as the siblings started at the WWE in 2007. In 2023, they revealed their departure from their Bella persona and shared that they would be using their maiden name, Garcia, moving forward. Despite their retirement, the twins announced this week that they'll be returning to the WWE in some capacity, though the specific details have not yet been released. What To Know During a joint appearance on the Busted Open podcast on Tuesday, Nikki Bella—whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace—pointed to her sister and said, "I'm waiting for this one to join me in the ring, so yes, there will be a Bella Twins comeback." In February, Nikki Bella made a surprise appearance at the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match in Indianapolis. Meanwhile, Brie Bella—whose real name is Brianna Monique Danielson—spoke out about Nikki Bella's comeback at the Queen of the Ring Los Angeles premiere in March and said that she often thinks about a WWE return. "Oh yes, always. But you know, what the women are doing today in both AEW [All Elite Wrestling] and WWE gets me wanting to get out there. It's incredible to be a fan of pro wrestling today. But definitely when I saw her I was like, 'Wait, it's not complete if I'm not there.'" And on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella spoke out about their former reality show, noting that "everyone wants this Total Divas reboot." "They want the Total Divas OGs," she said, referring to the original cast members, but "with a few newbies." The original cast members of the program included Nikki and Brie Bella, Naomi (Trin), Cameron, Eva Marie, Natalya (Nattie) and JoJo. "You know what? I mean, I might be biased, but I feel like they would kill it," Brie Bella said, adding that her choices for new cast members would be "Bianca Belair, Maxxine [Dupri] and Chelsea Green." Nikki Bella said that since they "can't bring" all of the original members back, she would choose "Paige, Nia Jax, you, me, Nattie and Trin." "We all are bringing something different to the table right now," she said. The reality star suggested that Total Divas could have a revival like Sex and the City did with its sequel And Just Like That... before sending a message to Netflix directly. "Sign us up. We got our team here. You all need to make a call live. They'll step away. They can take it," Nikki Bella said. "I really do think there's something there." What People Are Saying Nikki and Brie Bella's comments come several months after Total Divas was discussed on Reddit. Fans expressed their thoughts in a thread titled, "Would a Total Divas reboot be a good thing for WWE women's division?" "Now that WWE is on Netflix, I think a reboot of Total Divas would be great to draw more people into the product," the original poster, /u/Hot-Acanthisitta5237, wrote. "Some may discount the impact Total Divas had but many of the top women in WWE today became wrestlers because of TD like Bianca Belair. It brought many fans to watching WWE again or the first time." They added, "Reality TV is still popular on Netflix so I think it would be a great idea for those who may not watch WWE and introduce the talents to the world in a different medium." /u/RusserStinky said in a reply with 17 upvotes: "Absolutely. The women's roster is the future of the company, and you'd be surprised how many people became regular viewers or even wrestlers because of Total Divas. Also, it was entertaining as h***." /u/BashfulWalrus7 added in a message with 22 upvotes: "Call it something else but yeah, those inside looks into the lives of pro wrestlers can only serve to get more eyeballs on the product." /u/10024618 shared in a comment with 11 upvotes: "Yeah it could probably work. Like you said reality TV does big numbers for Netflix and they have plenty of charismatic wrestlers on the roster who could pull it off." What Happens Next For now, a Total Divas reboot has not yet been confirmed.

Nikki Garcia Details Reuniting with Ex John Cena 7 Years After Split
Originally appeared on E! Online There's no animosity in this elimination chamber. Over a month after WWE star Nikki Garcia (a.k.a. Nikki Bella) briefly ended her retirement to return to the 2025 Royal Rumble in February, she recently shared how it felt to be back in the ring—and reuniting with ex John Cena. 'It was very quick,' Nikki told Kristin Cavallari during the New York stop of her Let's be Honest podcast tour on March 13, per People. The 41-year-old, who split with John in July 2018 after six years of dating, noted that it's been 'seven [or] eight years' since they saw each other. 'I was in a circle talking to people. He came to [shake] everyone's hand. He shook my hand.' Nikki—who shares 4-year-old son Matteo with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev—didn't share if she and the Suicide Squad actor, 47, spoke to each other, but the people surrounding them had a notable reaction to their reunion. More from E! Online Donald Trump Reacts After Reporter Hits Him in the Face With Microphone En Vogue Alum Dawn Robinson Offered Job by Ex-Husband After Sharing She's Living in Her Car Gene Hackman Case: Actor's 3 Kids Left Out of His Will 'When he walked away, all the girls were like, 'Oh my gosh,'' she continued, adding she wanted to 'respect' John's space as he's now married to wife Shay Shariatzadeh. 'And that was it. It was great because [we were] breaking the ice and we both happened to be back at [WWE] at the same time. It's a good feeling.' According to Nikki, this experience was more pleasant than their previous run-in at the same event in 2018. At the time, Nikki said the moment—which was captured on her and her sister Brie Garcia's former E! show, Total Bellas—was 'hard' to go through, as she was trying to put on a brave face for the Royal Rumble crowd. 'Because of all the John stuff, I feel like I've been on such an emotional roller coaster,' Nikki said at the time. 'And today has been like double that. I'm going to be a part of this major historic moment, but I can't help but have all this John stuff on my mind.' Now that she and John appear to be on decent terms, Nikki's focused on the next chapter in her life: finding a new partner that can keep up with her. Nearly three months after she and Artem finalized their rocky divorce, the retired wrestler shared she's not interested in dating or 'training younger men.' 'I want to be owned,' she told her sister on the Feb. 18 episode of their self-titled podcast. 'I want my body rocked.'
