In March 2019, the sisters announced their retirement from the WWE on their Total Divas spinoff, Total Bellas. Their careers, however, predate the shows as the siblings started at the WWE in 2007.
In 2023, they revealed their departure from their Bella persona and shared that they would be using their maiden name, Garcia, moving forward.
Despite their retirement, the twins announced this week that they'll be returning to the WWE in some capacity, though the specific details have not yet been released.

During a joint appearance on the Busted Open podcast on Tuesday, Nikki Bella—whose real name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace—pointed to her sister and said, "I'm waiting for this one to join me in the ring, so yes, there will be a Bella Twins comeback."
In February, Nikki Bella made a surprise appearance at the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match in Indianapolis.
Meanwhile, Brie Bella—whose real name is Brianna Monique Danielson—spoke out about Nikki Bella's comeback at the Queen of the Ring Los Angeles premiere in March and said that she often thinks about a WWE return.
"Oh yes, always. But you know, what the women are doing today in both AEW [All Elite Wrestling] and WWE gets me wanting to get out there. It's incredible to be a fan of pro wrestling today. But definitely when I saw her I was like, 'Wait, it's not complete if I'm not there.'"
And on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella spoke out about their former reality show, noting that "everyone wants this Total Divas reboot."
"They want the Total Divas OGs," she said, referring to the original cast members, but "with a few newbies."
The original cast members of the program included Nikki and Brie Bella, Naomi (Trin), Cameron, Eva Marie, Natalya (Nattie) and JoJo.
"You know what? I mean, I might be biased, but I feel like they would kill it," Brie Bella said, adding that her choices for new cast members would be "Bianca Belair, Maxxine [Dupri] and Chelsea Green."
Nikki Bella said that since they "can't bring" all of the original members back, she would choose "Paige, Nia Jax, you, me, Nattie and Trin."
"We all are bringing something different to the table right now," she said.
The reality star suggested that Total Divas could have a revival like Sex and the City did with its sequel And Just Like That... before sending a message to Netflix directly.
"Sign us up. We got our team here. You all need to make a call live. They'll step away. They can take it," Nikki Bella said. "I really do think there's something there."

I'm Rethinking Amusement Park Rides for Good After Watching Netflix's 'Critical' Docuseries
Each week, Netflix releases a list of the Top 10 films and TV shows dominating the platform, and for the week of July 21, the new original docuseries Critical: Between Life and Death made a big impression on viewers, ranking No. 7 in the platform's most-watched shows. While medical shows -- including series like The Pitt, Pulse and ER -- have always been popular, Critical is an unscripted documentary that depicts real-life emergencies as they're happening. What makes it so captivating is the intensity and high stakes of these situations, and there's no shying away from the blood, open wounds and emotionally distraught patients and their friends and family here. Interestingly, the show fell out of the Top 10 pretty quickly -- after its first week, it dropped. That's not to say it's not popular, but my personal theory is that it has proven a little too intense for some people. That was my reaction, anyway. After a couple of episodes, I couldn't keep pace with all the grim, traumatic events. In fact, I'm shocked I kept watching after the first episode, which featured four people getting thrown from or crushed by a malfunctioning amusement park ride. Being that this is the height of summer and there's a Six Flags nearby that my kids and I frequent regularly, this is not what I wanted to see, and seeing this real incident unfold may have turned me off of fairs and amusement parks for good. I can't be the only person who gets a nagging feeling any time I board any kind of thrill ride that something terrible could happen, that I'm an accomplice to my own Final Destination death scene and here it is, proof that those fears -- while obviously not common -- can come true. The episode depicts the hospital call centers that are first notified of the ride collapse, and we witness ambulances, helicopters and emergency responders dispatched to the scene, later returning with their patients, most of whom are unresponsive. As the four patients injured at the funfair (as it's referred to on the show) are sent to several trauma centers around London, 40 cameras follow them and the health professionals who are helping them. We're given a front row seat to all of their treatments as their bodies are cut open, scans are taken and they're assessed for physical and neurological damage. I'm someone who gets grossed out by Dr. Pimple Popper videos, so there were several moments while watching this show where I had to look away. (Spoiler alert: The patients do get an epilogue of sorts where we learn that all of them not only survived but are back to leading healthy, relatively normal lives.) Netflix The show does address the fact that 50% of calls to the trauma centers in London are because of violence; accidents such as this one are much less common. And yet even with that in mind, I will panic forever at the idea that the giant spinner ride at the fair is going to dislodge and become a flying projectile. Critical: Between Life and Death is a remarkable show for just how close the filmmakers are allowed to get to such life-threatening action but watching the show made me realize some fears I didn't even know I had. At least while watching The Pitt, there was a sense of relief that it wasn't real. Here, there's no such comfort.

"I think it is. I had to go to the doctor yesterday to get my t-t looked at," Nikki replied. "I just was telling Brie, like, having conversations with my shirt off, and I'm thinking in my head, like, 'I didn't think I'd be here today, on my day off in New York City, getting my boobs looked at.'" Nikki then revealed that "It has moved." Nikki had been in and out of the ring for years due to neck injuries and a cyst in her brain, but she made a surprise return at this year's Women's Royal Rumble in February. She was previously engaged to John Cena, who proposed to the WWE Hall of Famer during WrestleMania 33 after the couple won a mixed tag team match against The Miz and his wife, Maryse. They were engaged for nearly a year before calling off their wedding less than one month before the date. Nikki was married before getting engaged to Cena, and married Artem Chigvinstev, her "Dancing With The Stars" partner, in 2022. But the dancer was arrested in 2024 on a felony domestic violence charge, and two weeks later Nikki filed for divorce.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Match Card, Start Time And Odds For Night One
WWE SummerSlam 2025 is a two-night extravanganza for the first time in the show's storied history, and it's kicking off with a bang on Saturday. Night One's headlining attraction pits the challenger CM Punk against the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in the first-ever televised singles match between two of Raw's biggest stars. The event will emanate from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and is expected to have an attendance of nearly 50,000 fans. In addition to Punk vs. Gunther, Roman Reigns will wrestle for just the fourth time in 2025 while country singer Jelly Roll will compete in a celebrity tag team match alongside Randy Orton. WWE SummerSlam 2025 Start Time and Streaming Info for Saturday WWE SummerSlam 2025 Night One takes place on Saturday, Aug. 2 and will air exclusively on Peacock in the United States. The event will be available on Netflix internationally. According to WWE, SummerSlam 'will screen live in select Regal Cinemas across the U.S. on Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday, Aug. 3' as part of a partnership with Fandango. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are arguably WWE's two most beloved babyfaces right now. In other words, they probably aren't losing at SummerSlam. The most logical reason why this is a tag team match instead of two separate singles matches is so that Reed, the least pushed star here, can take the pin in MetLife Stadium, probably after a spear from 'The OTC1.' Tiffany Stratton hasn't clicked quite as well as champion as one would have imagined, but the same is true of Jade Cargill in terms of her in-ring performances. On one hand, Stratton isn't as over as a fan favorite as she should be. On the other hand, neither is Cargill, and as a far as actual wrestling ability, she isn't at the level of most of WWE's top singles stars in the women's division. Cargill is, however, getting a massive push after winning Queen of the Ring, signifying that she's likely the one who will end Stratton's underwhelming reign as WWE Women's Champion. An apparent late replacement for rapper Travis Scott, country music artist Jelly Roll is clearly working very hard to ensure his pairing with Randy Orton and feud with Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul goes as well as possible. Orton is so beloved right now and performing at such a high-level that the most likely scenario is for 'The Viper' to end this match with an RKO on Paul. A win for Orton and Jelly Roll will get WWE a lot of media attention, which is precisely why this match is happening to begin with. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were reportedly set to quickly split in time for a singles match against one another at SummerSlam until Flair herself requested that they stick together. That's actually worked out really well so far as the unlikely duo has gelled quite nicely and Flair is arguably more over as a babyface than she's ever been. With Flair and Bliss having such great chemistry so quickly, WWE needs to strike while the iron is hot and crown them as champions in New Jersey. WWE surprisingly booked this match for SummerSlam, giving into fan demand to see Kross more prominently featured on Raw. Thus far, the two stars are tied at one win each, and in a rubber match like this, the babyface tends to win, especially when he's beloved as someone like Sami Zayn, who appears to be in line for a potential world title push in the later stages of the year. With Kross's contract status also uncertain, a win for Zayn feels like the safest bet among Saturday's matches at WWE SummerSlam.
