Cooperpalooza continues helping children battle cancer

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Nearly seven years after his passing, Super Cooper is continuing to save the day. Local non-profit organization Super Cooper Saves the Day is hosting the 6th Annual Cooperpalooza Carnival on Saturday. The event serves as the organization's biggest fundraiser of the year. Guests of all ages will be able to enjoy games, raffles, and fun snacks. All proceeds from the event will benefit the group's mission to provide support for families with a child battling cancer. The event will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. at Touch of Texas, located at 1240 Upper Front Street in Binghamton. Founded in memory of Cooper Busch, a Chenango Bridge boy who passed away from Leukemia in 2018, Super Cooper Saves the Day provides emotional and financial support to victims of childhood cancer. Super Cooper hosts many fundraisers throughout the year. It also opened a playground at Chenango Bridge Park to be shared with children across the community.
