Toyota Kirloskar Motor has been witnessing an overwhelming response from the customers over the past few months. The company on Sunday revealed its sales report, informing about the figures that increased 22 per cent year-on-year. According to the details shared by the brand, it has sold more than 30,860 units last month (May), attracting more customers as compared to the same month last year. The wholesale to dealers in the domestic market, the numbers stood at 29,280 units last month. The export figures stood at 1,584 units. Top Performer It has been reported that the comapny witnessed an impressive growth due to its SUV and MPV categories. The combined volumes of the sales for the first two months of the fiscal year have increased by 34 percent as compared to last year. The hot-selling products Fortuner and Legender remain the top performers. The SUVs have contributed massively to the overall sales figures. These offerings have collectively crossed the 3 lakh unit mark in the country, becoming the top choice in the segment. Badge-engineered models Apart from this, the badge-engineered models such as Glanza, Rumion, and Taisor also did a good job and successfully dominated the segment with decent sales figures. Toyota Fortuner crossed the 3 lakh sales mark since 2009. Check Offers Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has posted a year-on-year growth of 22 per cent in May 2025. The company sold 30,864 units during the month, including 29,280 units in domestic sales and 1,584 units exported. In May 2024, TKM had sold 25,273 units. The company also recorded 27 per cent growth in the first two months of FY 2025–26, selling 58,188 units, compared to 45,767 units in FY 2024–25. The company emphasised that the MPV and SUVs in its portfolio continue to be the primary growth drivers. During April–May FY 2025–26, combined sales of MPVs and SUVs recorded a robust 34 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition During May 2025, the carmaker also launched the Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition with a price tag of ₹ 32.58 lakh ex-showroom. It is based on the ZX(O) variant and will be offered for a limited time with dual tone in two colors - Super White and Pearl White. Apart from the dual-tone colour schemes, there are other cosmetic changes as well. The special edition comes with blacked-out elements. So, the roof, front grille, rear garnish, alloy wheels and the hood emblem are now finished in black. There is a front skid plate and a grill garnish. On the sides, there is wheel arch moulding and a garnish for an outside rearview mirror. At the rear, there is a skid plate and a garnish for the tailgate. The instrument panel, door fabric, seat material and the centre console lid is finished in dual-tone theme. Toyota has added an air purifier, leg room lamp and a wireless charger. Toyota Kirloskar's May sales rise 22% to 30,864 units

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Sunday reported a 22 per cent increase in sales in May, 2025. The carmaker sold 30,864 units last month, including exports of 1,584 units. Srong demand for its MPV and SUV segments and the launch of the Innova HyCross exclusive edition contributed to the overall growth, the company said. The carmaker sold 25,273 units in May 2024. In the first two months of FY26, TKM sold 58,188 units, registering a growth of 27 per cent from the 45,767 units sold during the same period in FY25. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, said 'In May, we achieved a growth of 22%, a testament to the enduring trust and support of our valued customers, for which we are deeply grateful. With the onset of the monsoon and forecasts indicating a normal to above-normal season, we remain optimistic about improved market sentiment in the coming months, particularly across rural and semi-urban regions." The company's MPV and SUV segments have been key contributors to its growth. These segments experienced a combined sales increase of 34 per cent during April–May FY 2025–26 compared to the same period last year. This underscores a shift in customer preference towards dependable and versatile mobility options. Toyota product expansion The Japanese carmaker reached a milestone with its Fortuner and Legender models, cumulatively selling 3 lakh units of these premium SUVs in India. Toyota has also expanded its MPV offerings with the Innova HyCross Exclusive Edition. This edition features 19 upgrades designed to enhance its hybrid capabilities. The positive response to the Innova HyCross Exclusive Edition highlights its strong market traction. TKM is optimistic about maintaining its growth trajectory in the coming months.

Toyota Sales April 2025: YoY Sales Analysis In April 2025, Toyota reported sales of 24,833 units, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 32.80 percent compared to 18,700 units sold in April 2024. This represents an increase of 6,133 units. The Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder led the sales chart with 4,642 units sold, marking a 42.74 percent increase from the 3,252 units sold in April 2024, and capturing 18.69 percent of the company's overall sales. The Hycross followed in second place, selling 4,494 units, which is a 5.10 percent increase from 4,276 units the previous year. The Toyota Glanza saw a decrease in sales, dropping 5.66 percent to 4,132 units, down from 4,380 in April 2024. On a positive note, the sales figures for the Innova Crysta increased by 13.37 percent to 3,205 units, and Fortuner sales grew by 24.90 percent to 2,904 units. The Toyota Rumion, based on the Maruti Ertiga MPV, shows significant growth, rising 106.54 percent to 2,462 units from 1,192 units last year. The new Taisor also contributed with 2,421 units sold. Additionally, sales of the Hilux and Camry increased by 30.68 percent and 16.20 percent, reaching 345 and 208 units, respectively. With 20 units sold this month, from 5 units the previous year, the Vellfire showed a remarkable growth of 300 percent. Toyota Sales April 2025: MoM Sales Analysis Toyota reported year-over-year growth, but its month-over-month sales fell by 12.48 percent, decreasing from 28,373 units in March 2025 to a lower figure, which is a drop of 3,540 units. Most of its models are seeing lower sales. Toyota Hilux The Toyota HyRyder's sales dropped by 12.18 percent to 5,286 units, and the Hycross saw a significant decline of 37.21 percent from 7,157 units. On the positive side, the Toyota Glanza and Crysta had increased sales, with Glanza up by 18.02 percent to 4,132 units and Crysta up by 18.75 percent to 3,205 units. The Fortuner's sales fell by 14.39 percent to 2,904 units, while the Rumion sales grew by 37.31 percent, from 1,793 units to 2,462 units. The Taisor and Hilux models also faced big drops in sales, with Taisor down 30.19 percent and Hilux down 34.66 percent. The Camry sales increased by 2.46 percent to 208 units, but Vellfire's sales dropped to 20 units, a 94.22 percent decline from 346 units sold the previous month.
