He expected the Supra to fetch thousands of pounds at auction on March 27. The Toyota Supra is expected to get over £14,000 at auction. (Image: Charterhouse Auctions) 'Whilst I've seen many Toyota Supras over the years, few are in such amazing condition as this one,' said Mr. Bromell. 'At 34 years old, it is one of the younger classics in the auction but will have many admirers in the sale.' The 1991 Toyota Supra 3.0i comes from a deceased estate near Weymouth. It was bought by the late owner in 1998 and has travelled less than 60,000 miles since new. Finished in white with a blue interior, this low mileage Supra has been cherished and used sparingly by its owner and survives in remarkable original condition for a modern sports car. There are nearly 60 classic & vintage cars in the auction dating from 1924 to 2005, estimated from £500 to £35,000. All lots, with live internet bidding, will be available to be viewed on

Freeway racers unaware unmarked police car was behind them
One of two drivers police say was street racing on I-15 in Utah County was pulled over and arrested Tuesday. A Springville police officer was driving an unmarked patrol car on southbound I-15 near Vineyard on Tuesday when he spotted two Toyota Supras. "The vehicles both continuously sped, weaving between dense traffic and revving their engines at one another," according to a police booking affidavit. After "driving erratically for approximately two miles," one Supra got into the HOV lane and the other in an adjacent lane. The drivers continued to rev their engines as they traveled side-by-side going the speed limit, the affidavit states. "After a few moments of revving their engines, both vehicles began rapidly accelerating, increasing their speed. I attempted to pace the vehicles. However, my unmarked police car's speed is governed at 111 mph. Each vehicle quickly pulled away," the arresting officer wrote. The speed of the Supra in the HOV lane was estimated at 117 mph. The officer turned on his emergency lights and siren and pulled the vehicle over. A 25-year-old Orem man was booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of reckless driving, exhibition driving and going more than 100 mph. A search for the second driver continued Wednesday.
