Bruce Springsteen Jumps Back To No. 1 Following His Public Rebuke Of Trump
Bruce Springsteen fans only have to wait about a month before the rocker delivers a massive batch of new music. The superstar is planning to drop Tracks II: The Lost Albums in late June, and the box set will feature seven complete projects that he wrote and recorded but never released. Excitement is already building in the United Kingdom, where many fans are revisiting Springsteen's earlier work in advance of that huge project arriving. That enthusiasm has pushed one of his most popular collections back to the summit on one major list, while another brand new title earns the rock legend another top 10 bestseller — just ahead of what's sure to be another sizable debut. Springsteen returns to No. 1 on the Official Americana Albums chart this week, stepping up from the runner-up rung with Best Of, his simply-titled compilation of hits. In doing so, he replaces Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé, which recently secured another stay at the top. Best Of has now spent 57 weeks on the Official Americana Albums chart, and it hasn't disappeared from the tally since it debuted in May 2024. Throughout that stretch of time, the release has never fallen outside the top 10. It has now earned seven stays at No. 1. Springsteen's music may be surging not only due to the buzz around Tracks II, but also thanks to the launch of his newly-retitled Land of Hope and Dreams Tour. The run of shows kicked off in Manchester in mid-May, continuing an adventure that originally began in 2023. At the first new concert, Springsteen spoke out against U.S. President Donald Trump, sparking controversy and returning both his name and music to headlines across the globe. The resurgence of Best Of to No. 1 appears to be a sign of support from his loyal U.K. fan base. As Best Of climbs to the top once again and returns to the Official Albums Streaming chart at No. 89, a newly-released surprise EP gives Springsteen another top 10 win. Land of Hope and Dreams opens at No. 8 on the Official Album Downloads chart this week. The rock icon produced the set using recordings from his now-infamous show where he criticized Trump, seemingly cementing his remarks in the public record. The fact that, after only a few days, the title stands out as one of the top 10 bestselling collections in the U.K. speaks volumes about the strong support Springsteen enjoys to this day.

Bruce Springsteen Boosts Mexican ‘Soldaderas' On ‘Adelita'
Bruce Springsteen pays tribute the female Mexican 'soldaderas' who aided the country's fight for independence on 'Adelita,' the latest preview from his upcoming seven-album rarities boxed set, Tracks II. The song is housed within Inyo, the previously unreleased material on which was written in the mid-1990s during Springsteen's non-E Street Band The Ghost of Tom Joad period. 'Inyo was a record I wrote in California during long drives along the California aqueduct, up through Inyo County on my way to Yosemite or Death Valley,' says the Boss. 'I was enjoying that kind of writing so much. [On The Ghost of Tom Joad tour] I would go home to the hotel room at night and continue to write in that style because I thought I was going to follow up The Ghost of Tom Joad with a similar record, but I didn't. That's where Inyo came from. It's one of my favorites.' Tracks II is out on June 27 from Columbia and covers decades' worth of never-before-heard recordings, including 1983 sessions between the albums Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A. and a complete album born out of work on the theme song for the 1993 movie Philadelphia. Springsteen and the E Street Band are on tour through early July in Europe, where the Boss' onstage comments about Donald Trump have lately become national news. An EP featuring those speeches is available on all DSPs. To see our running list of the top 100 greatest rock stars of all time, click here.

Bruce Springsteen's New Surprise Release Is A Quick Strong Seller
Bruce Springsteen surprise-releases Land of Hope and Dreams, a live six-track EP, ahead of his ... More seven-album-long Tracks II box set arriving in June. (Photo by Sergione Infuso/Corbis via Getty Images) In a little over a month, Bruce Springsteen will release one of the biggest projects of his career, as the rock icon is set to deliver Tracks II: The Lost Albums in late June. He's been doling out singles from the seven-album set fairly steadily since announcing the collection earlier this spring, and now he's treated his followers to another surprise — one that will likely make them even more excited for what's to come. On Tuesday (May 20), Springsteen dropped a new short album titled Land of Hope and Dreams. The live set appeared on digital download platforms and streaming sites without warning, and fans were quick to begin snapping up copies. As of the time of writing, Land of Hope and Dreams sits at No. 15 on the iTunes top albums ranking in the U.S. It launches in the lofty position, and as more fans of the singer-songwriter learn of its existence, it could easily jump into the top 10 – currently crowded with thrilling new offerings from superstars like Morgan Wallen and BTS musician Jin, among others – in the coming hours or days. Land of Hope and Dreams features just six tracks, all of which were taped live in Manchester. The recordings stem from the opening stop of Springsteen and the E Street Band's 2025 run of shows, which kicked off with three nights in a row in the English city. The trek was originally named the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2023–2025 Tour when it began in 2023, but has since been retitled The Land of Hope and Dreams Tour. The EP includes selections like 'Long Walk Home,' 'My City of Ruins,' 'Chimes of Freedom,' and, of course, the title tune. Land of Hope and Dreams takes its name from the song of the same title, which was first released in 2001. Springsteen wrote it and then shared the cut on multiple live collections before finally recording a studio version and including it on his 2012 full-length Wrecking Ball. On June 27, Springsteen will drop seven complete albums as a box set titled Tracks II. The projects that make up the massive effort are fully finished full-lengths that Springsteen worked on throughout various periods of his career, but never shared with fans. Throughout 2025, he's given his followers the tunes 'Rain in the River,' 'Blindspot,' 'Faithless,' and 'Repo Man,' all of which have become momentary successes on iTunes.

Bruce Springsteen Biopic Starring Jeremy Allen White Gets October Release Date
The Bruce Springsteen biopic is coming out this fall. On Friday, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios announced that Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss, will premiere in theaters on Oct. 24. The Scott Cooper-directed film will focus on the making of Nebraska, Springsteen's 1982 record. Alongside White, Jeremy Strong is set to star as Springsteen's manager Jon Landeau, Stephen Graham will play Springsteen's father, Odessa Young will play his love interest Faye, and Paul Walter Hauser will play guitar tech Mike Batlan. 'Beginning production on this film is an incredibly humbling and thrilling journey,' Cooper said in a statement last October. 'Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska has profoundly shaped my artistic vision. The album's raw, unvarnished portrayal of life's trials and resilience resonates deeply with me.' When discussing his portrayal of Landeau, Strong told Variety earlier this year, 'I don't think I've ever encountered a person's body of work or their legacy in a way that uplifted me more or filled me with a sense of life and hope and love more than Bruce Springsteen.' He added, 'Jeremy [Allen White]'s work is incredible. Bruce is on set a lot. We're all kind of working on it together. It's a real collaboration.' The new premiere date comes seven months after a first-look photo of Allen as Springsteen was shared with the public: the actor is seen wearing a leather jacket and a plaid flannel button-down. In conversation with Zach Bryan for Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians, Springsteen shared: 'I've seen the scripts, and I've talked to the director. They're just putting it all together, so I don't have an awful lot to say about it, but I'm excited about it happening … It's an interesting story, and the script is really good. I feel good about the whole project.' Bruce Springsteen's New Single Took Its Time Becoming A Top 10
Bruce Springsteen's new single 'Repo Man' hits No. 10 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, ahead of his ... More massive Tracks II: The Lost Albums release. ASBURY PARK, NEW JERSEY - SEPTEMBER 15: Bruce Springsteen performs during the 2024 Festival on September 15, 2024 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. (Photo by) Bruce Springsteen is quickly working toward the release of one of the biggest projects of his career. On June 27, he will drop Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a collection of seven full-lengths that the rocker never shared, but recorded years ago during different phases of his career. Since announcing the ambitious effort, Springsteen has delivered a number of tunes from the upcoming albums, and his latest single has become a quick bestseller in the United States. 'Repo Man' is the latest Springsteen cut to arrive from Tracks II. The song currently appears at No. 10 on the iTunes Top Songs chart, meaning it is the tenth bestselling track in the U.S., at least on that one platform. While not brand new, the cut rockets into the highest tier today (May 16), joining several other exciting recent releases from names like Volbeat, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney, and even Kesha within the uppermost region. Springsteen actually released 'Repo Man' on May 14. It has taken a few days for the track to become a strong seller in the U.S. Interestingly, it performs its best on Friday, which is the beginning of the tracking week and usually considered the busiest time for new releases. This is when Springsteen faces the most competition, and yet it seems his latest tune has finally taken off only now. 'Repo Man' is the fourth single from Tracks II released by Springsteen this spring. He has dropped one track from each from four different albums that will be part of the seven-full-length collection. He started with 'Rain in the River,' which will be featured on Perfect World. He followed that up with 'Blind Spot,' the first cut on The Streets of Philadelphia Sessions. Most recently on May 1, 'Faithless,' the title track from the album of the same name, arrived.
