Internet in a frenzy Walker was drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and was a part of the Detroit Lions for six years but he was cut after the 2023-24 season. The 30-year-old joined the San Francisco 49ers in August 2024 but was released in late September. Walker faced something similar in 2022. Back then, during a game with the Eagles, Walker was disqualified after he lost his temper and committed two personal fouls. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts slid late on a run play, and Walker slammed into him, post which he was disqualified. Though the NFL has not confirmed the reason behind Walker's suspension, the Internet thinks it might be a disciplinary measure. 'Unknown reason huh… Somebody knows!' wrote an X user on the platform. August 6 - Free agent safety Tracy Walker III has been suspended for the first 12 games of the NFL season, according to multiple reports on Wednesday. The NFL transaction wire was cited as the source of the suspension, but the NFL didn't reveal why Walker was disciplined. If Walker joins a team, he wouldn't be eligible to play until Week 13 at the earliest. Walker, 30, spent six seasons with the Detroit Lions (2018-23) before being released. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in August 2024 but didn't see any action before being released in late September.
