The Pokémon Fossil Exhibition is Coming to the U.S. in 2026
Everybody loves Pokémon, whether that's playing with (and as) them, watching them, and collecting 'em all. Nintendo's never not ready to trot them out, and for those in the U.S., you'll be able to visit them at a museum next year. On May 22, 2026, Nintendo will bring its Pokémon Fossil Museum to the Chicago's Field Museum. The exhibit will feature fabricated 'fossils' of the monsters compared with 'ancient lifeforms found in real-world fossils. […] Trainers of all ages are invited to visit and discover the incredible world of fossils both in the Pokémon world and in our own real world,' reads the announcement. Two noted highlights are scientific casts of Field Museum dinos Sue the and the Chicago Archaeopteryx next to Tyrantrum and Archeops, respectively. The Pokémon Fossil exhibit started in Japan this past March and will wrap up its current run in Fukui before traveling to the Benex Dinosaur Museum in Nagasaki (June 7-September 11) and Tokushima's Prefectural Museum (October 4-December 28). Chicago will be its first venue in the U.S., and at time of writing, future cities and countries to follow haven't been revealed. The Field Museum also isn't selling tickets right now, but you can sign up to be alerted for when they do here. Meanwhile, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the next big entry in the series, is due for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in late 2025.

Kate Middleton's favourite metallic Veja trainers are back in stock and have 20% off
The Princess of Wales has been spotted wearing this particular pair of Veja trainers numerous times over years, causing them to sell out. They're now back in stock – and on sale Kate Middleton is no stranger to wearing comfy and practical footwear when required to, such as on daytime royal engagements or visits to sporty causes. Veja seems to be her favourite brand of trainers, and she's regularly been snapped sporting one particular style, which usually flies off the shelves straight after. Now, however, we've spotted they're back in stock – and have 20% off in a spring sale. We think they pair perfectly with, as Kate often wears them, cropped jeans, a T-shirt and a casual blazer, and they'd also look equally as good worn with a summery midi dress, or smarter wide-leg trousers for the office. You'll need to be quick if you want to bag a pair though, as we reckon they'll sell out again soon, especially now that they're currently discounted in price. The Princess of Wales was giving up more wardrobe envy earlier this week too, as she and Prince William visited Mull in Scotland on their wedding anniversary. Catherine wore a chic countryside look, consisting of a blue button-up shirt, tweed blazer, brown skinny trousers and chunky brown boots. The exact blue shirt Kate appeared to be wearing is Boden's Blue Longline 100% Linen Safari Shirt, £98 and amazingly still in stock in sizes 8-18 – though, again, not for long, we imagine. We also spotted a couple of cute personalised necklaces around her neck, depicting the initials of her children's names – a trend we've also spotted Michelle Keegan wearing following the birth of her daughter Palma. PRYA's Custom Name Necklace, £42, is a good lookalike for Michelle's, while you could layer up Lily & Roo Solid Gold Curve Initial Necklaces, £125, to copy Kate's multi-letter look.

There aren't many trainer styles that can count Gisele Bündchen, Zendaya and Kevin Bacon as fans. But they've recently all been snapped wearing a trainer brand that, quite honestly, wasn't even on our radar until about a year ago – and is quickly becoming the darling of celebs and influencers alike. The style in question? ON's running shoes. Yes, the ones with the weird bubbly soles that look like they belong in a sci-fi film. ON was founded just over a decade ago in Switzerland, as a performance running brand. Until now, their signature cloud soles have mostly been seen on ultra-marathoners and tech bros who grunt a bit too loudly in the gym. Now, they've strutted their way into the fashion world – and editors are not quite sure how to feel about it. Unlike trainers by high-fashion brands (I'm sorry, Balenciaga, I'm looking at you), they're actually designed for comfort. Radical, we know. Their signature CloudTec soles absorb shock like a dream and mean, whether you're headed to parkrun or your local Pret, you've got a literal spring in your step. Aesthetics-wise, they're a bit more controversial. I – along with Zendaya, J-Lo and Emily Ratajkowski – am very much won over. Gym classes are pretty much my entire personality, and ON Cloud's lime green mesh sneakers are the perfect way to brighten up my black sports bra and short set for the summer months.
