After arriving at the scene, officials soon learned the woman, 62-year-old Lori Trende-Landgraver, had been on a guided snorkel trip and was in the water for approximately five minutes before complaining of soreness in her arms.
According to Hawai'i police, Trende-Landgraver returned to the boat, told the captain she was feeling unwell, then 'became unresponsive.'
Crew members attempted CPR while the boat returned to the harbor and was met by emergency crews.
Another body discovered floating in the Willamette River near Terminal 4
Trende-Landgraver was taken to the hospital, but died soon after being admitted.
While police say they don't suspect foul play, her official cause of death is still under investigation.
Anyone with further information is asked to contact Hawai'i police.
