Nottingham tram services face evening disruption during work
Work on Nottingham's tram network will mean the early ending of services on part of the 4 to 7 August, there will be no service between Wilkinson Street and The Forest each evening from 22:00 BST until the end of service at midnight. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stations but passengers are advised to allow extra time for operator Nottingham Express Transit (NET) said the work would help services remain safe and reliable. Trevor Stocker, head of operations and safety at NET, said: "By undertaking this work during the night, we are hoping to reduce the impact on customers."More information about services affected by the upcoming works, as well as the replacement bus service route, can be found here.

Tram services altered ahead of Notts Pride
Tram services are being changed and road closures have been announced as the city is set to celebrate Notts Express Transit (NET) said there would be no services running between the Royal Centre and Old Market Square, between 11:20 and 14:30 BST on Saturday, "to enable essential road closures" to allow the march to take Old Market Square and Lace Market tram stops will be closed, with no alternative transport options Pride march will begin at Lister Gate and end at Sneinton Market. Nottingham trams facing 'long-lasting' disruption after crash
Nottingham's tram operator says there will be "long-lasting" disruption to the network following a crash between a car and a tram on Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Queens Walk in The Meadows after a car crashed into the tram and caused it to Express Transit (NET) said the driver of the car, the passenger and the tram driver were taken to hospital and three passengers were also treated by paramedics at the operator said there would be no service running between Ruddington Lane and Nottingham Station until further notice and advised passengers wanting to travel between the two locations to use the NCT Navy line. Trevor Stocker, head of operations at NET said: "We are still in the process of assessing the full extent of the damage caused to the tram and track."Due to the severity of the incident, we are currently working closely with The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) on what is now an ongoing investigation."As such, there will be long-lasting disruptions to the tram schedule until further notice, with no service running between Ruddington Lane and Nottingham Station."
