The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana has unveiled the 2025 Indiana All-Stars and finalists for its Coach of the Year award. The All-Stars were voted upon by coaches within each district. It is a senior-only event. The SCAI All-Star Games are set for June 20-21 at IU's Andy Mohr Field in Bloomington. Only one school budget fails in annual vote; Keene to revote

KEENE — Budgets for all school districts except Keene passed in this year's Tri-County school vote. The Keene Central School budget failed to get the 60 percent supermajority vote it needed, since the spending plan was more than its 3.03 percent state tax cap by 1.62 percent. The budget would have been a 4.65 percent tax levy hike for residents. Keene Superintendent Dan Mayberry said the budget will be adjusted before a second vote is scheduled. 'Keene Central School will be going out with a new budget amount and re-vote,' he said by email. The election Tuesday was to vote on school spending plans for 2025-26, school board members and propositions such as buying new school buses. Clinton CountyPLATTSBURGH Budget: 719 yes, 331 no. Propositions: Bond for $12.1 million for capital project for security and other improvements, 743 yes, 309 no. School Board candidates (three three-year terms): Gary Lambert (incumbent), 627 votes, Jessica Perry (incumbent), 227 votes, Brigitte Phillips, 463 votes, Kylie Goodell King, 281 votes, Alison Rosenbaum, 312 votes, Sandra Ghelman, 150 votes, Clayton Morris, 141 votes, Elizabeth Goerlitz-Coryer, 496 votes, Jason Howard, 161 votes.
