Cat was ‘scared of the world' when arriving at shelter. See her transformation

A cat with a unique marking on her little nose went from utterly terrified in an Indiana shelter, to thriving in her own space. Meet Mocha, a senior black cat with white markings who was surrendered in July 2024 at the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Fishers because, well, she was a major scaredy-cat. 'The other cat, the dog, the children, and even the adults frightened me into hiding,' her pet profile said. And that didn't change upon being thrust into a shelter environment. 'Mocha was surrendered last summer, so scared of the world that she hid from everything. Other pets, children, even kind adults… all of it overwhelmed her. She was too sensitive to the noise of the busy shelter and was sent to live in a foster home,' the shelter said in a July 31 Facebook post. 'Then when she went to a foster home everything changed.' Turns out, all she needed was a safe space and patient people. 'Moving into my foster home was the best thing that ever happened to me. Some things haven't changed much,' her profile says. 'The bedroom is still my favorite place to relax, but I come out in the morning and evening to explore the house and greet my foster parents.' Mocha's favorite things, per the shelter, include: Belly rubsMidnight snacksDry food onlyNapsMaking the first move around new peoplePeace and quiet And she even has the most adorable marking around her nose, which looks a little like a Triforce from the 'Legend of Zelda' franchise. 'Mocha is litterbox trained, uses her scratching posts, and doesn't ask for much, just a patient person, no other pets, and a calm home with gentle kids who can respect her boundaries,' the shelter said. For more information, visit the shelter's website. Fishers is about a 20-mile drive northeast from downtown Indianapolis.

Live-Action ‘Zelda' Movie Set for 2027 Release From Sony, Nintendo

Sony and Nintendo's live-action 'The Legend of Zelda' movie now has a release date – the quest will begin on March 26, 2027. Wes Ball, who recently helmed 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,' will direct the feature, with original videogame creator Shigeru Miyamoto producing alongside Avi Arad. 'The Legend of Zelda' debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan on Feb. 21, 1986, and in North America on August 22, 1987. It followed the intrepid hero Link, who is on a quest to save the princess Zelda. The game and many of the subsequent games were set in the magical realm of Hyrule. Much of that game, like the Triforce and dungeon-crawling, have become staples of the franchise. The most recent game, 'The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom,' came out on the Nintendo Switch last fall and allowed you to play as Zelda for the first time. Elsewhere, Nintendo and Illumination's animated 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' was released in 2023 and made more than $1.3 billion at the global box office. A sequel is in development and will be released by Universal in 2026 with returning voice actors Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day and Jack Black. There are a number of other live-action video game adaptations opening this year, with 'A Minecraft Movie' and 'Until Dawn' (from Sony) opening in April, along with sequels to 'Five Nights at Freddy's' (from Universal) and 'Mortal Kombat' (from New Line Cinema) opening later in 2025. Video games are also on a hot streak on the small screen, with the second season of HBO's 'The Last of Us' coming soon and additional seasons of 'Fallout,' 'Gangs of London' and 'Twisted Metal' on the way.
