A night of culture in Bengaluru
The inaugural night of Tajurba in Bengaluru, a year-long series celebrating India's rich classical and folk traditions, offered a soulful respite from fast-paced city life. The brainchild of Trilochan Kampli and Jaheena, the event featured a performance by Lucknow-based poet Kafeel Jafri.
This was followed by a sitar jugalbandi from twin brothers Ustaad Rafique Khan and Ustaad Shafique Khan, accompanied by Bengaluru artiste Srilochan Kampli on the tabla.
Tajurba was presented by Purvankara builders in association with Nikhaar jewels and backed by Sahhasra properly capital. It was conceptualised by concoction events and Xanadu kitchen
