Brandon Felloni (24), from Augherskea, Drumree, Co Meath was nabbed with a large amount of cocaine as well as almost €70,000 deemed the proceeds of crime when gardai raided his home on two occasions in 2023 and 2024. He was also caught with benzocaine, which is used as a cutting agent for cocaine. Felloni, who had no major previous convictions, was the target of a garda raid at his home on July 3, 2023. During the search, officers found a large amount of cocaine as well as €51,637 in cash. Despite already facing charges over that seizure, Felloni was raided again on May 14 last year and caught with €17,867 in cash, deemed to be the proceeds of crime, as well as the anaesthetic benzocaine. While cocaine can wholesale for between €25,000 and €40,000 per kilo, benzocaine is widely available online for €90 per kilo and even cheaper in bulk. While many dealers use it to dilute their product to boost their profits, in some cases buyers are sold 'cocaine' that is 100 per cent benzocaine. Felloni appeared before Trim Circuit Court last December in relation to the 2023 raid and pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for sale or supply as well as money laundering offences. He was subsequently charged in relation to the 2024 raid and pleaded guilty to further money laundering charges as well as possession of articles intended for use in connection with an offence, contrary to section 183 (1) (b) of the Criminal Justice Act, 2006, as amended. The second set of charges relate to the bulking agent. He was sentenced to three years for the 2023 offences and a further two years and three months with 15 months suspended for the 2024 offences. The sentences are to be served consecutively which gives him an effective total sentence of four years. Felloni is a relative of notorious criminal Tony Felloni who earned the nickname 'King Scum' as one of Ireland's leading heroin traffickers in the 1980s and 1990s. Tony Felloni had been involved in crime for decades before he got involved in the drug trade. Even in the 1960s, he exploited young naive women trying to make their way in Dublin, getting them drunk, taking compromising photos and extorting their wages from them. As a burglar and sneak thief, he spent a lot of his life behind prison bars before getting into the drugs trade. He fulfilled Christy 'Bronco' Dunne's infamous prediction 'If you think we were bad wait 'til to see what's coming behind us.' Originally from Lower Dominick St, Dublin, Felloni was blamed for making the capital's heroin problem in the 1980s a lot worse. Tony Felloni, seen here in 2011, was a convicted drug dealer who flooded the Dublin streets with heroin in the 80s and 90s. Photo: Collins The convicted wife-beater was considered by gardaí to be a key dealer for two decades and was one of the first major criminals to be targeted by CAB after it was set up. The Criminal Assets Bureau spent 14 years chasing his money and property, eventually taking almost €500,000 from him. Despite being involved in importing large quantities of the drug, he was also known to sell bags of heroin directly to addicts from his family corporation flat, not willing to share any profits. Brandon Felloni was sentenced in relation to drugs and money laundering charges. (right) 'King Scum' Tony Felloni News in 90 Seconds - 09 June 2025 He didn't even care about the effects his drug dealing had on his own family with his children falling victim to the drug. During Felloni's trial for heroin dealing in 1996 it was heard how he used some of his children in his drug dealing business and introduced them to the drug. He died last year at the age of 81 with just 20 people turning up to pay their respects. No eulogy was read out during the mass for the notorious criminal. As the funeral ended, Felloni's casket was wheeled out of the church to The Godfather theme music.
