Broncos cut 4 players after rookie minicamp
Broncos cut 4 players after rookie minicamp Denver Broncos general manager George Paton and head coach Sean Payton had a busy Monday. After hosting 33 players for tryouts over the weekend, the Broncos signed two of them: Michigan State inside linebacker Jordan Turner and Utah State wide receiver Kyrese White. Turner and White are both undrafted free agents. Denver also had four veteran players try out. Of those four, only tight end Cole Fotheringham was signed. The Broncos also brought back Zach Triner on Monday. Triner was cut last week to make room for the team's incoming rookies. With Mitchell Fraboni (back) still sidelined, Triner is expected to fill in for organized team activities later this month. To make room for Turner, White, Triner and Fotheringham on the 90-man offseason roster, Denver cut defensive back Kendall Bohler, defensive lineman Christian Dowell, tight end Thomas Yammin and inside linebacker K.J. Cloyd, according to the NFL's transaction wire. Broncos roster cuts Broncos cut DB Kendall Bohler Broncos cut DL Christian Dowell Broncos cut TE Thomas Yammin Broncos cut LB K.J. Broncos make 1st of several expected roster moves
Broncos make 1st of several expected roster moves Just as we suspected, the Denver Broncos are bringing back a recently released veteran. After signing 15 undrafted free agents, the Broncos needed to cut two players to make room for the UDFAs on their 90-man offseason roster. Denver wanted to get a good look at a large group of rookies at minicamp over the weekend, so the team cut punter Matt Haack and long snapper Zach Triner last week. With rookie camp now wrapped up, the Broncos are re-signing Triner, the Denver Gazette's Chris Tomasson first reported Monday. Denver will have to make room for Triner on the roster, so a roster cut is likely on deck later today. Broncos long snapper Mitchell Fraboni (back) is expected to miss organized team activities later this month, so Triner was presumably brought back to handle long snapping duties during OTAs. Triner's return (and a corresponding move) might not be Denver's only transactions today. Broncos coach Sean Payton hinted on Saturday that a few tryout players could be signed following minicamp. We will track all of Denver's potential upcoming roster moves on Broncos Wire. Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.

Broncos sign Super Bowl LV champion ahead of NFL draft
Broncos sign Super Bowl LV champion ahead of NFL draft Mitchell Fraboni will face competition this summer. The Denver Broncos signed long snapper Zach Triner on Monday, according to the NFL's transaction wire (via KUSA-TV's Mike Klis). Triner (6-3, 245 pounds) is a 34-year-old long snapper who played college football at Assumption University, a Division II program in Worcester, Massachusetts. He's been in the NFL since 2017, spending time with the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins. He served as the Bucs' long snapper from 2019-2023, helping Tampa Bay win Super Bowl LV following the 2020 season. Triner lost his starting job last summer and eventually landed with the Dolphins, playing three games in Miami last season. Triner now figures to compete with Fraboni for Denver's long-snapping duties this summer. The Broncos are also expected to have a punter competition at training camp. Also on the NFL's transaction wire: tight end Thomas Yassmin has once again been designated as an International Player for the 2025 campaign. The Australian-born tight end will not count against the team's 90-man offseason roster limit, and if he makes the practice squad, he would not count against the 16-player limit. Denver kicked off its offseason program on Monday. Next up on the offseason calendar is the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26. These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans
