Broncos cut 4 players after rookie minicamp
Denver Broncos general manager George Paton and head coach Sean Payton had a busy Monday.
After hosting 33 players for tryouts over the weekend, the Broncos signed two of them: Michigan State inside linebacker Jordan Turner and Utah State wide receiver Kyrese White. Turner and White are both undrafted free agents. Denver also had four veteran players try out. Of those four, only tight end Cole Fotheringham was signed.
The Broncos also brought back Zach Triner on Monday. Triner was cut last week to make room for the team's incoming rookies. With Mitchell Fraboni (back) still sidelined, Triner is expected to fill in for organized team activities later this month.
To make room for Turner, White, Triner and Fotheringham on the 90-man offseason roster, Denver cut defensive back Kendall Bohler, defensive lineman Christian Dowell, tight end Thomas Yammin and inside linebacker K.J. Cloyd, according to the NFL's transaction wire.

Giants rally again to beat lowly Rockies 10-7 for 7th straight win
DENVER — Mike Yastrzemski's two-run double in the eighth inning keyed another San Francisco rally, and the Giants beat the Colorado Rockies 10-7 on Wednesday night for their seventh straight victory. Willy Adames homered and drove in three early runs for the Giants, but they trailed 6-3 entering the eighth before coming back against reliever Tyler Kinley (0-3). Adames, Heliot Ramos and Dominic Smith singled to load the bases with one out, and Casey Schmitt walked to bring in a run. Yastrzemski then lined a double off the right-center wall to tie it. Tyler Fitzgerald laid down a bunt against Zach Agnos, and Schmitt slid around the tag of catcher Hunter Goodman with the go-ahead run. Schmitt was initially ruled out but the call was overturned following a replay review. San Francisco added three insurance runs in the ninth on Wilmer Flores' sacrifice fly, and RBI singles by Schmitt and Yastrzemski. Goodman hit his 11th homer in the bottom half and the Rockies had two runners on when Orlando Arcia grounded back to closer Camilo Doval for the final out. Tristan Beck (1-0) tossed three innings of relief for the win. ___ AP MLB:

'Under the weather': Ailing Myles Turner blocks two Chet Holmgren shots on same play
Myles Turner sure didn't play that fourth quarter like he was sick. The Indiana Pacers big man blocked two Chet Holmgren shots on the same play while leading by 6 points in the closing minutes. Turner finished with 9 points and 5 blocks in their 116-107 NBA Finals Game 3 win. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said postgame that Turner was "under the weather" and may not be with the team Thursday. Indiana leads the best-of-seven series 2-1 and Game 4 is Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. "He just hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days," Carlisle said. "It was affecting his wind. He won't bring it up, but I think it's just appropriate to mention that he's working through something." Rick Carlisle:"O Myles Turner não está bem. Talvez nem fique com a gente amanhã. Ele tá com alguma coisa, tipo um resfriado."
