Foreign Ministers of India and China Agree to Develop Partnership Between Countries
Yara Sameh India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who arrived in New Delhi on a visit. The parties agreed to maintain the positive momentum in bilateral relations between the countries, according to Trinity Mirror , a partner of TV BRICS. "As the two largest developing countries with a total population of more than 2.8 billion, China and India should demonstrate the feelings of the world, reflect the responsibility of major powers, set an example for the joint self-improvement of the largest developing countries, and contribute to promoting multi-polarisation of the world and democratisation of international relations" Yi said. The Head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry also recalled that this year Beijing and New Delhi are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. According to Wang Yi, China and India should deepen cooperation and remove barriers, ensuring stability in Asia and around the world. In turn, Jaishankar stressed that Beijing and New Delhi should jointly ensure the stability of the global economy. He confirmed India's readiness to use the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation in the trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres. 'Beast' spray painted on walls as vandals target property in Scots town
Police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing. A house in a Scots town has been targeted by vandals who daubed 'beast' on the walls and smashed the windows of the property. Police were alerted to the incident this afternoon at the house on Granger Street in Kilmarnock this afternoon at around 1:35pm. Officers told the Record their enquiries are at an early stage. An image shows windows and the front door boarded up, with 'beast' and 'keep away' spray painted on the walls. It is understood that vigilante groups have been protesting in the street at various dates over the past week due to a known sex offender believed to be living in the area. The house was previously targeted in recent days with blue spray paint but had been cleaned up before the latest incident. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 1.35pm on Thursday, 19 June, 2025, we received a report of vandalism to a property in the area of Granger Road, Kilmarnock. Woman collapses and dies in front of families at popular beach amid heatwave
Medics battled to save the woman but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A woman has tragically collapsed and died at a popular beach amid the heatwave. Emergency services scrambled to Durdle Door in Dorset this afternoon, Thursday, June 19, following reports that a woman needed medical attention. A cordon was put in place while police, paramedics and the Coastguard worked at the scene in an attempt to save her life. Sadly, cops have confirmed that the woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Today has been declared the hottest day of the year so far, with many Brits going to beaches and park to enjoy the sun. An eyewitness said Durdle Door was "fairly crowded" because of the good weather when the woman sadly passed away, reports the Mirror. Police said the woman's next-of-kin has been informed and her death is not being treated as suspicious. A spokesperson for the force said: "Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time." Indian mission reveals surprising plasma behaviour in Moon's ionosphere
India's Chandrayaan-2 mission has revealed the Earth's geomagnetic tail has a significant impact on the Moon's ionosphere, challenging prior assumptions about plasma behaviour in the lunar environment. The findings were reported by Trinity Mirror, a partner of TV BRICS. The mission uncovered unexpectedly high electron densities in the Moon's ionosphere when it passes through the Earth's geomagnetic tail. The study suggests that lunar crustal magnetic fields may play a greater role in shaping plasma dynamics than previously understood. Researchers used an innovative two-way radio occultation experiment, analysing S-band telemetry and telecommand signals transmitted by the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter. The signals revealed electron densities reaching approximately 23,000 electrons per cubic centimetre, nearly 100 times higher than those observed on the Moon's sunlit side. The new findings suggest remnant lunar crustal magnetic fields could be trapping plasma, preventing its dissipation, and leading to localised electron density enhancements. These insights are crucial for future robotic and crewed missions to the Moon, as high plasma densities can affect radio communications, surface charging, and lunar dust interactions.
