South Range two-way standout commits to the next level
CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – South Range two-way star Tristan Toy announced his commitment to Baldwin Wallace football to continue his academic and athletic career.
He made the announcement on social media on Monday night.
As a senior, Toy threw for 1,619 passing yards while racking up 1,122 rushing yards and 42 total touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 56 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions.
The Raiders finished the season 14-1 and were Division V state semifinalists.
Throughout his four-year career, Toy was a part of a 55-4 overall stretch with four undefeated Northeast 8 Championships, two Regional Championships and the 2022 State Championship.
Baldwin Wallace football competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference on the Division III level and finished last season with a 7-3 record.
