5-Star LSU Commit Posts Two-Word Message After Massive NIL Deal Revealed

5-Star LSU Commit Posts Two-Word Message After Massive NIL Deal Revealed originally appeared on Athlon Sports. NIL deals are growing larger for college football athletes as brands and schools try to secure partnerships with some of the most talented young athletes in the country. One such deal was struck on Wednesday between five-star LSU wide receiver commitment Tristen Keys and athletic apparel and footwear juggernaut Adidas. Advertisement Keys, a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will earn an estimated $536,000 under the agreement, according to On3's estimate. The exact total of the deal has not been disclosed. Adidas highlighted the deal with Keys on social media with a caption that read "Don't blink or you'll miss the future." Per 247Sports, Keys is the No. 3 player in the country, the top receiver and top player from Mississippi. In response to Adidas' social media announcement, Keys replied, "Gods Plan 🙏🏾." In March, Keys announced his commitment to LSU. He chose the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami and several other big-time schools. Last year, the 6-foot-2.5, 180-pound receiver caught 40 passes for 839 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games played. I want to be surrounded by the right people,' Keys told On3. 'For me, great relationships with the coaches and the team are important. It is about finding that place I can call home.' In On3's NIL 100, Keys appears at No. 19 on their list of highest NIL valuations among high school athletes. The Tigers are No. 2 on On3's team recruiting rankings for 2026. LSU 5-Star WR Commit Reported to Ink NIL Package Worth up to $1 Million

LSU 5-Star WR Commit Reported to Ink NIL Package Worth up to $1 Million originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Despite already being committed to the LSU Tigers, that hasn't stopped several other big-time programs from pursuing five-star wide receiver recruit Tristen Keys. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi, native is the No. 5 player in the country according to On3, as well as the top wideout and best player in Mississippi. Advertisement In addition to the Tigers, Miami, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas A&M and Auburn are all pushing their NIL budgets to secure the talents of this 6-foot-2.5, 185-pound burgeoning star. Because so many teams are still recruiting Keys, his NIL valuation could push close to $1 million, according to the latest reporting from On3's Pete Nakos. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Keys had secured a NIL agreement with athletic apparel and footwear company Adidas, estimated to be worth over $500,000, according to On3. Advertisement Despite not even having enrolled in a college yet, Keys is ranked No. 19 among high school players in the NIL 100, On3's list of estimated NIL values. Keys is one of two five-star recruits committed to LSU, joined by defensive lineman Richard Anderson for the 2026 class. The Tigers also already have seven four-star commitments as well and rank second in On3's team recruiting rankings. Nation's No. 1 WR Makes Recruiting Decision Despite LSU Commitment

Nation's No. 1 WR Makes Recruiting Decision Despite LSU Commitment originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The LSU Tigers and head coach Brian Kelly have put together an extremely impressive 2026 recruiting class, which features a total of nine commitments, ranking No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 in the nation. Advertisement Among those players is wide receiver Tristen Keys out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who originally pledged to the program on March 19 and has taken just one unofficial visit to Baton Rouge (April 1, 2023). However, it appears that the wide receiver is choosing to keep his options open, because on Thursday, On3's Steve Wiltfong reported that Keys will be taking an official visit with the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend. There's no doubt that the Volunteers are going to do whatever it takes to leave their mark, as On3 Industry Rankings has Keys as a five-star prospect, the No. 1 wide receiver and the No. 5 player in the nation. Advertisement Last season, he was named a MaxPreps Junior All-American after an impressive performance for Hattiesburg High School, hauling in 58 receptions, 1,275 yards and 14 touchdowns. However, Tennessee isn't the only program trying to lure him from LSU, as Keys has already taken an official visit with the Miami Hurricanes on May 30 and the Texas A&M Aggies on June 6. However, landing a wide receiver isn't an absolute necessity, as they've already received commitments from two in the form of four-star Tyreek King and three-star Tyran Evans. However, these official visits are crucial in building a strong relationship with each commit and visitor, knowing that players like Tristen Keys and five-star safety Bralan Womack likely won't return to College Station before their commitments or signing announcements. Texas A&M will host 2026 5-star WR and LSU commit for an official visit

Texas A&M will host 2026 5-star WR and LSU commit for an official visit One of the top 2026 prospects just revealed his plans for the summer, which includes several official vists, despite being committed to LSU, as five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys will reportedly take official visits to Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M, which isn't extremely surprising, but excellent news for the Aggies regardless. Even after Keys committed to the Tigers, his unofficial visit to College Station back in late March was a good sign, knowing that he has already developed a relationship with coach Mike Elko and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins, similar to the strong bond four-star wide receiver commits Aaron Gregory, Madden Williams and Mike Brown have also developed with both coaches. On the field, Keys is as elite as they come from a speed/route running perspective, and is built as a X receiver at 6'2" and 175 pounds, and is coming off what one of the most productive seasons by any 2026 wide receiver prospect after reeling in 58 receptions, 1,275 yards and 14 touchdowns during his 2024 junior season. Under Elko and Wiggins, Texas A&M has already outdone former head coach Jimbo Fisher in recruiting elite wide receivers, led by 2025 five-star signee Jerome Myles, paired with landing current No. 1 wide receiver KC Concepcion from the transfer portal. According to On3, Tristen Keys is the 4th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle and the No. 1-ranked wide receiver and prospect in Mississippi.
