This includes a 5-year standard warranty and a 5-year extended warranty. Earlier, the company offered the motorcycles with a 2-year unlimited kilometre standard warranty + a 3-year 45,000 km extended warranty. In terms of appearance, the prototype motorcycle showcases several modifications: a redesigned side body panel, a compact windscreen, and USD front forks that are finished in a more understated black rather than the typical vibrant style. Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its 400 cc lineup in India with the launch of the Scrambler 400 XC. This new variant serves as a more adventurous alternative to the standard Scrambler 400 X, catering to riders who desire more than just urban cruising. With improved styling, off-road-oriented features, and ready-to-ride accessories, the XC seeks to redefine factory-built trail capabilities. Here's a brief comparison between the Scrambler 400 XC and the Scrambler 400. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Design The Scrambler 400 XC creates a striking visual impact. Triumph has provided it with cross-spoke tubeless wheels, which are not only visually appealing but also durable on rough terrain. A beak-style front mudguard and colour-matched flyscreen contribute to its unique, rally-inspired design. To safeguard essential components, the XC includes extra crash protection around the engine. Further distinguishing it from its counterpart is its colour selection. Riders can opt for vibrant options such as Racing Yellow, Storm Grey and Vanilla White. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Engine Both models are powered by the same mechanical foundation. A 398 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine drives both, producing 39.45 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. With a broad torque spread and smooth throttle response, the engine excels in both city traffic and on dusty trails. The chassis and suspension setup is consistent across both motorcycles. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Accessories and What truly differentiates the XC is its factory-installed accessories. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Here's what separates the two

Both motorcycles use the same platform and engine but there are few changes to differentiate the XC model from the X. Check Offers Triumph Motorcycles has added another 400cc model to its Indian lineup with the Scrambler 400 XC, a new model above the standard Scrambler 400 X. Though both motorcycles have the same mechanical basis, the XC model brings a few factory-installed upgrades to appeal to riders looking for off-road capability and unique styling. Below is an outline of how the two bikes compare along major areas. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Design On the visual front, the Scrambler 400 XC sets itself apart with a more rugged, adventure-faring attitude. Triumph has provided it with cross-spoke tubeless wheels, which provide an advantage both aesthetically and in reality when riding on rough terrain. The addition of a beak-style front mudguard, flyscreen body-coloured, and increased crash protection at the engine section further enhances its rugged profile. Another place where the XC distinguishes itself is with its unique colour options—Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White—providing riders with a new colour palette that's not found on the base model. These additions make the XC immediately identifiable and trail-capable straight out of the showroom. Also Read : 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX unveiled. Built for track use and limited to 1,200 units Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Specs Beneath the styling improvements, the Scrambler 400 XC uses the same heart as the base 400 X. It is powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, calibrated to deliver 39.45 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The powertrain, common with the Speed 400, is famous for its wide torque band and free-flowing delivery, making it just as competent for town runs as well as light off-roading. The chassis and suspension setup remain unchanged, preserving the balance between everyday usability and occasional trail excursions. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Features Not only is its rugged look what distinguishes the XC, but also the factory-fitted accessories it arrives with as standard. While motorcyclists can still accessorise the standard Scrambler 400 X to the same extent, the XC comes with the must-have adventure upgrades already bolted on, including an alloy sump guard and engine crash bars. It avoids owners taking the time and expense of doing this after purchase and provides greater value to those intending to venture off-mainstream trails. These enhancements also improve the bike's readiness for mild trail rides, adding peace of mind when tackling uneven roads or rocky tracks. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs Scrambler 400 X: Price The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC retails at ₹ 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), a ₹ 27,000 premium over the regular Scrambler 400 X. Yes, that sounds like a big leap, but the value is in the ready-to-ride package. If one wouldn't have otherwise bought these accessories themselves, then the XC provides a factory-supported, bundled package ready to roll out of the box. Check out Upcoming Bikes In India. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs RE Himalayan 450: Specs, prices & more compared

Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs RE Himalayan 450 comparison. With the launch of the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC in India, the mid-capacity adventure segment has welcomed a serious contender. Priced at Rs 2.94 lakh, ex-showroom, the Scrambler 400 XC slots itself as a more off-road-capable version of the Scrambler 400X. Its primary rival in the Indian market is none other than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 . Here's a quick look at how these models stack up against each other in terms of engine specs, hardware, and more. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs RE Himalayan 450: Engine The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC draws its power from a 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that churns out 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. In contrast, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is equipped with a slightly larger 452cc engine that also produces 40 bhp but delivers a bit more torque at 40 Nm. Both bikes come with a six-speed transmission. For the unversed, the Scrambler 400 XC is designed with off-road adventures in mind, featuring an engine guard, sump guard, high-mounted front fender, flyscreen, and tank pads as standard. The Scrambler 400 XC rides on cross-spoke wheels, with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear, shod in tubeless dual-purpose tyres. The Himalayan 450, on the other hand, is fitted with a more off-road-oriented 90/91-21 front tyre, paired with the same 140/80-17 at the rear. When it comes to stopping power, both bikes are fitted with a 320 mm single disc at the front. However, there's a slight difference at the rear. A notable advantage for the Scrambler 400 XC is its inclusion of traction control, something the Himalayan 450 misses out on. The Triumph model also weighs slightly less at 190 kg compared to the Himalayan's 198 kg, which could make a difference during tight off-roading. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC vs RE Himalayan 450: Pricing Priced at Rs 2.94 lakh, ex-showroom, the Scrambler 400 XC, is slightly more expensive than the Himalayan 450 which comes at a starting price of Rs 2.85 lakh, ex-showroom.
