'When I first read the script, I genuinely wondered why they were casting me. It was so well-written. I told them, 'Sir, why are you taking me?'" he laughed. 'I just got lucky," he concluded. The actor further added that if someone debated with him why he was cast in Asur, he would win the debate that he shouldn't have been. Barun clarified that he was talking only about the casting and not about the performance, as it comes later, and concluded it by saying that he's got lucky.
