PETALING JAYA: Feruni, a prominent name in Malaysia's tile industry, has once again pushed the boundaries of artistic expression with its latest collection – 'The Transformative Power of Art'.
The launch at the company's headquarters here on Thursday marked a continuation of Feruni's mission to become a global disruptor in the tile-making sector.
Following last year's brand refresh themed 'Discover New Art Forms', Feruni's latest initiative emphasises its dedication to transforming spaces, inspiring customers and enriching communities through art and beauty.
This year's event showcased creative partnerships with local artists, introducing a new design direction with captivating tile collections that highlight Feruni's belief in art as a powerful force for connection and transformation.
Feruni chief executive officer Datuk CC Ngei highlighted the significance of these collaborations.

'These partnerships go beyond design as they shape culture, impact society and influence how we shape the spaces we live and work in while transforming everyday environments into meaningful experiences,' he said.
The new collections reflect Feruni's 'The Art and The Artist' platform, celebrating the fusion of creativity and craftsmanship.
Each tile is a meaningful work of art, showcasing innovative design and the unique perspectives of the artists involved.
One notable collaboration is with Loka Made, a renowned creative studio, with their 'Mosaic of Harmony' collection.
This mural-style collection captures Malaysia's multicultural spirit through illustrations featuring the country's iconic buildings and drawings of local culture.
The mural, measuring 2.4m x 6m, was crafted using intricate hand-carving techniques and recognised as the nation's Biggest Tile Carving Mural by the Malaysia Book of Records.
'Through this collaboration, we combine our creativity with Feruni's craftsmanship to create something we have never done before,' said Loka Made co-founder Audrey Chew.
'I have seen Feruni's passion for blending house and art and their dedication to quality craftsmanship.'
Another collaboration features Farah Mohan, founder of Novak Batik, who blends Malaysian textile heritage, batik, with modern ceramic tiles.
Her collection, 'Tutur Alam' or 'Nature's Speech', reimagines traditional batik with a modern twist, inspired by the Malay folk song Bangau Oh Bangau.
The architect-turned-artist took batik as her main art technique to express herself.
'I grew up seeing batik and I decided to incorporate that art in my work,' she said.
The collection features abstract forms that reflect nature, memory and emotion, created in collaboration with Studio Feruni.
In addition to these collaborations, Feruni introduced the Feruni Maxima Porcelain Slabs, designed under the theme 'Scale of Perfection'.
These slabs, transformed into refined tiles, highlight Feruni's commitment to advanced design and technology.
As part of its growth strategy, Feruni plans to expand through cross-industry collaborations and enter new markets, starting with South-East Asia and eventually going global.
The company also aims to revamp its retail experience with the new Feruni Retail Store 2.0 concept, beginning at its headquarters.
