A replica of the ‘Twins Peaks' diner is popping up in London
It's the 35th anniversary of David Lynch and Mark Frost's landmark TV brain-bender Twin Peaks and MUBI is celebrating in style. For one day only, the streamer will be turning Stoke Newington's New River Café into a pop-up version of Twin Peaks, Washington State's famous Double R Diner – Agent Dale Cooper's morning stop-off of choice. Expect cherry pie, damn fine coffee, and maybe even a glimpse of the Log Lady passing by. The diner will be drop-in only and open from 11am-7pm on June 18. Alongside the coffee and pie, you'll be able to win limited edition Twin Peaks goodies throughout the day. The pop-up diner is the handiwork of the Mam Sham crew and creative agency Hot Sauce Presents. You'll find it at New River Café, 271 Stoke Newington Church Street. Twin Peaks (1990) and 2017's Twin Peaks: The Return are streaming on MUBI from June 13. from September 27-28.

The cast of ‘Twin Peaks' is coming to the Bay Area to share their stories. Here's how to get tickets
The celebration of the late David Lynch's legacy continues as cast members of his hit series 'Twin Peaks' tour the country to discuss the groundbreaking TV show with fans. But Bay Area devotees will get an extra treat. 'Twin Peaks: Conversation With The Stars' will hit 18 cities, beginning in Tysons, Va. on Aug. 4, and ending Oct. 20 at the Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo, Wash., where interiors of the Great Northern Hotel were shot. The venue's exterior is where Laura Palmer (played by Sheryl Lee) was found dead in the 1990 pilot episode, which provided the plot for the series. Lee, who also starred in Lynch's 1992 film 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me,' is only making select appearances during the tour's West Coast swing — including at Uptown Theatre in Napa on Oct. 17. Actors Ray Wise (who played attorney Leland Palmer), Harry Goaz (Deputy Andy Brennan) and Kimmy Robertson (kooky receptionist Lucy Moran) as well as Sabrina S. Sutherland, the executive producer of the 2017 limited series ' Twin Peaks: The Return,' are scheduled to make appearances at every stop of the tour to talk about their experiences and the legacy of the show, which is credited as a forerunner of prestige television with its continuous storyline and cinematic look. Lynch died on Jan. 16 at age 78. Sutherland told the Hollywood Reporter, which first broke news of the tour on Thursday, May 22, that Lynch signed off on the tour before his death. 'David was very happy that we were going to have this cast tour to celebrate 'Twin Peaks' with the fans all around the U.S.,' Sutherland said. 'It's sad that I won't be able to call him each night to let him know how the show went as I had promised. But I look forward to celebrating his work each night and having him in my heart instead.' 'Welcome to Lynchland,' a documentary about the filmmaker and his work, made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14.

Over the years, Twin Peaks has maintained a devoted cult following, with enthusiasts continuing to sing its praises. On the social platform X (formerly Twitter) one ardent fan proclaimed: "Twin Peaks is the best show ever made. By a large margin. Nothing will change my mind." Meanwhile, a new viewer to the series boldly stated after just one episode: "Watched 1 episode of twin peaks and i'm already convinced it's the best show ever made." Twin Peaks has found a new streaming home in the UK. To mark 35 years since the release of the cult classic series, it's been confirmed that all 30 episodes of Twin Peaks - which aired in 1990 and 1991 - will be available to stream on Mubi from 13 June. Mubi is available to add as a Prime Video channel on Amazon, costing £11.99 per month. However, you can start a 7-day free trial before paying for the subscription. Created by the late David Lynch and Mark Frost, the '90s thriller follows FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle McLaughlan) as he investigates the murder of local teenager Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the town of Twin Peaks. "As the investigation progresses, several other mysteries and conspiracies, edging on the supernatural, are uncovered around Twin Peaks, all linking back to Laura's murder," the synopsis adds. Dale became trapped in the realm when a doppelgänger inhabited by a malevolent spirit called BOB escaped. The Return picks up with him trying to free himself from the Lodge to put a stop to BOB and finally close the case of Laura Palmer's murder.
