The announcement, however, has been met with mixed reactions from fans and people who have consumed their previous content and did not find it tasteful. During their 'Twitter Hall of Fame' segment, they were discussing a viral thread where people shared when they realised their supposed friends hated them. The duo zeroed in on a particularly striking confession: 'When she moved in with my boyfriend.' They then noted how it was a South African thread where people would start their tweets in English, then proceed to end it in their native language, calling it 'gibberish' and 'mouth noise'. They added that it made them feel left out because they, too, want to understand the rest of the tweet. This understandably upset many South Africans who called the podcast hosts out for insulting their diverse culture. The duo later apologised after the backlash, citing that they use the term 'gibberish' for anything they don't understand. Now, with their announcement, some of their fans are excited and are hoping to get their hands on the tickets before they are sold out, while others are just not comprehending why the duo is coming to Mzansi after their offensive comments X user @GoldenMazinyo commented: 'Yo! It's not a good idea for you to waltz into South Africa and expect us to forget the 'gibberish' chat.
