Vision School archers shoot down 27 medals

SANDAKAN: Vision School Sandakan's archery team were a blazing success at the MSS Sabah Archery Championships held in Lahad Datu, recently. Contributing a formidable 27 medals to the Sandakan contingent's tally, these young archers proved that precision, perseverance and passion make for an unbeatable combination. Advertisement The Vision School archers' medal haul was 6 golds, 10 silvers and 11 bronzes. The medals came across three demanding categories: Recurve, Compound and Barebow—highlighting the team's versatile excellence. Vision School's archers include Dexter Tsang (U-18 Boys Recurve), Caden Yeo (U-15 Boys Recurve), Nicholas Yeo (U-15 Boys Recurve), Caleigh Chong (U-12 Girls Recurve), Zachariah Lai (U-12 Boys Recurve), Joshua Chong (Open Men Compound), Crystal Yong (Open Women Compound) and Bryan Hiew (Open Men Barebow). Among the team's many triumphs, special kudos go to Caleigh Chong who, alongside fellow Sandakan archer Eunice Hing, has earned a coveted spot representing Sabah at the prestigious MSSM national-level competition. Vision School Sandakan archers clinch two gold, three silver medals

SANDAKAN: Vision School Sandakan's archery team delivered an impressive performance at the recent MSSD Sandakan Archery Championship here by bringing home two gold and three silver medals. The gold medals were won by Caleigh Chong Ky Ne in the U-12 Girls Recurve and Caden Yeo Kah Han in the U-15 Boys Recurve, while the silver medallists were Zachariah Lai Ao Jie (U-12 Boys Recurve), Nicholas Yeo Kah Hsien (U-15 Boys Recurve) and Dexter Tsang (U-18 Boys Recurve). The other archers were Bryan Hiew Jun Hao and Jeazel Yukin (Barebow Open) and Joshua Chong Yao Jet and Crystal Yong Shi Qi (Compound Open). In total, seven archers have been selected to represent Sandakan at the MSS Sabah Championship in Lahad Datu later this month.
