Pati Patni Aur Panga: Debinna Bonnerjee revisits three weddings with Gurmeet Choudhary; says 'Each shaadi was a different version of us, and each equally special'

When it comes to love stories that deserve their own movie, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debinna Bonnerjee's tale takes the cake, and the varmala. During the upcoming episode of 'Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check', the fan-favourite couple revealed a shocker that's left everyone talking - they've gotten married three times. And each wedding is a story in itself. Hosts Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui , visibly moved, brought out a rare photo from Gurmeet and Debinna's very first wedding, a hush-hush ceremony at a small temple, witnessed only by three friends and five pandits. There were no guests, no families, no décor, just two young hearts deciding that they were each other's forever. What followed years later was a grand wedding complete with all the rituals and loved ones. That's when fellow contestant Abhinav Shukla revealed that he had attended their second shaadi and had danced with full energy. Talking about the rollercoaster romance, Debinna shares, 'I truly believe I manifested Gurmeet. I was just 19 when we got married for the first time. It was impulsive, magical, and completely ours. We were standing in front of a small mandir with a few close friends, five pandits, and hearts full of love. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like With temperatures hitting 95°F, this is the mini air conditioner everyone's buying in the U.S News of the Discovery Undo Nobody knew, not even our families. Years later, when we got married again with all the rituals, it was like life giving us a chance to celebrate the same love on a bigger scale. I remember putting the varmala on him in front of our family and friends. I was overwhelmed. It wasn't about grand gestures; it was about love that kept evolving. Each shaadi was a different version of us, and each equally special. And now, years later, to still be able to look at each other and say 'yes' again, that's rare.' Reflecting on the weddings, Gurmeet adds, 'When she asked me on a call if I'd marry her, I didn't even blink. I was on my bike, but I turned around, got a mangalsutra, found some pandits, and we just went for it. That first wedding was raw and real. No cameras, no pressure, just love. The second one gave me the chance to give her the celebration she deserved. I applied sindoor, tied the mangalsutra properly, and saw our families and friends dancing, even Abhinav was part of it. And to be able to stand in front of each other again years later and say, 'I still choose you' not once, but three times, that's something rare. I feel blessed I got to do that with her.'
