Outstanding results across age groups In the recurve under-12 category, Alya Al Shar'a won gold, followed by Ilma Serji with silver, and Salama Al Ali taking bronze. In the compound under-12 category, Salma Al Suwaidi claimed gold, Alia Al Shamsi secured silver, and Mouza Al Shamsi earned bronze. In the under-15 category, Samia Odineva took silver and Muna Al Shar'a bronze in the recurve category, while Massa Al Darous earned bronze in the compound division. In the under-18 events, Nora Al Mazmi took silver and Sara Al Bloushi won bronze in the recurve, while Sara Al Mazmi excelled in the compound category, clinching the gold. Experience shines in the women's category In the women's recurve division, Hessa Al Awadhi dominated the field to take gold, followed by Sniehal Devkar with silver and Maha Al Hosani with bronze. In the compound women's category, Amina Al Awadhi continued her winning streak with a gold medal, while Rawdha Al Awadhi added to the tally with a bronze. The team earned 17 medals in total: 5 golds, 5 silvers, and 7 bronzes—an outcome that speaks volumes about the athletes' dedication and rising calibre on the national stage. 'As we close the chapter on this local season, we're entering the international arena with confidence and ambition,' she said. 'We're proud of our players and the teamwork that led to these results. Al Wasl to face Qatari Al Sadd in AFC Champions League Round of 16
Al Wasl is set to face Al Sadd of Qatar on Monday in the first leg of the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai. Al Wasl qualified after coming in fifth in the league stage of the continental tournament, which was launched in this version with its new system, while Al Sadd qualified after coming in fourth. It is worth noting that the first leg matches of the round of 16 of the competition, which will be held over the course of Monday and Tuesday, bring together Esteghlal Tehran with Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, and Al Rayyan of Qatar with Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia, for the western region.

Tissoudali Shines in Khorfakkan Debut, Wins Best Player of the Match Title
Rabat – Moroccan international Tarik Tissoudali's first official debut with UAE's Khorfakkan has proven the player's prowess. Tissoudali's stellar performance earned him the Best Player of the Match title, following his contribution to Khorfakkan's convincing 3-0 victory over Al-Arabi in the 16th round of the UAE League. The Moroccan international delivered a stellar performance by scoring one goal and providing an assist. Khorfakkan fans selected Tissoudali for the award following his instrumental role in the win. The 30-year-old forward joined Khorfakkan earlier this month during the recently concluded winter transfer window from Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki. His move to the UAE came after a difficult period at PAOK, where he had fallen out of favor despite contributing six goals and an assist across 28 appearances this season. Reports say he had been training alone before securing the six-month loan deal to Khorfakkan. Tissoudali started his professional career in the Netherlands with Telstar in 2014, before playing for several Dutch clubs including Cambuur, VVV-Venlo, and De Graafschap. His career gained momentum at Belgian club Gent in 2021, before moving to the Greek league with PAOK earlier this year. Though born in the Netherlands, Tissoudali represents Morocco internationally. He debuted for Morocco's U23 team in 2016 and made his senior national team debut during Morocco's 1-0 victory against Ghana in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations. Khorfakkan fans will be hoping Tissoudali's impressive debut is just the beginning of a successful spell that helps elevate the club's position in the UAE league standings.
