Federal Youth Authority Launches Programme to Empower Emirati Youth in Global Humanitarian Missions
The Federal Youth Authority has launched the 'Youth Social Missions Programme' to prepare young Emiratis for active roles in humanitarian, developmental, and cultural missions worldwide, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to volunteerism and sustainable development.
Unveiled from Japan, the initiative targets Emiratis aged 21 to 35 and aims to equip them with the skills and experience needed to represent the UAE in critical social missions. It forms part of the 'Society and Values' pillar under the UAE Youth National Agenda 2031.
The programme will deliver specialised training focused on disaster relief, sustainable development projects, and cultural exchange. Participants will gain hands-on experience through field visits, workshops, and global forums, while also receiving official certifications and the honorary title of 'Humanitarian Work Ambassadors.'
Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority, highlighted the UAE's legacy of humanitarian leadership, rooted in the values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He said the programme marks a strategic step toward fostering a globally engaged generation driven by compassion and civic responsibility.
Beyond skill-building, the initiative promotes soft power by showcasing Emirati identity and values on the international stage. Through this effort, the UAE continues to position its youth as key contributors to global relief efforts and sustainable progress.
