CE-LINK Launches Ultra-Slim 45W and 65W Wall Chargers with Planar Transformer Technology

CE-LINK, a global leader in consumer electronics manufacturing, has announced the release of its latest innovation: ultra-slim wall chargers powered by advanced planar transformer technology, available in 45W and 65W versions. These new models blend sleek design with high-performance charging, addressing the increasing demand for compact, powerful, and travel-friendly solutions. Planar Transformer Technology Traditional chargers use bulky wire-wound transformers that generate excess heat and take up space. CE-LINK's chargers incorporate planar transformer technology—a multi-layer PCB stacking method—that increases energy conversion efficiency to over 91%, while reducing heat buildup by more than 30%. This means: Faster Charging: More efficient power transfer reduces energy loss, helping devices charge quicker. Longer Lifespan: Superior heat dissipation keeps the charger cooler, protecting internal components during extended use. Smaller Footprint: Compared to conventional 45W and 65W chargers, the new models are 59% and 23% smaller, respectively. Ultra-Slim Yet Powerful Both the 45W and 65W chargers support USB Power Delivery 3.1 and PPS (Programmable Power Supply) for dynamic voltage adjustment, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices—smartphones, tablets, earbuds, and more. The 65W model goes a step further with intelligent power distribution. When two devices are plugged in, it automatically allocates power, such as 45W + 20W or 30W + 30W—based on real-time demand. This eliminates the frustration of slow charging when multiple devices are connected and enhances overall charging efficiency. Measuring only 0.41 inches (45W) and 0.51 inches (65W) thick, both models easily fit behind furniture, in tight wall outlets, or in travel bags—perfect for home, office, and travel use. Built for Real-Life Scenarios Travel-Friendly: Unlike bulky chargers often compared to a "brick," the 65W model is only 0.51 inches thick and fits easily into a carry-on or even a shirt pocket. It supports 100–240V global voltage, so international travel is stress-free. Work-Ready: In places like coffee shops or co-working spaces, where outlets are often shared or limited, the slim profile allows it to sit side-by-side with other plugs without blocking space. That means reliable, efficient charging—anytime, anywhere. Gamer-Approved: Thanks to a combination of planar transformer and graphene-based cooling, the charger stays cool even during extended gaming sessions. So the user can charge and play without worrying about overheating. 'CE-LINK is committed to delivering high-performance, reliable power solutions,' said Wesely, Product Manager at CE-LINK. 'With planar transformer technology at its core, the Ultra Slim Wall Charger perfectly balances size and power, meeting the modern user's need for a compact, stylish, and functional tech accessory.' Iontra and Salom Announce USB Power Delivery (PD) Charger With Revolutionary Charging Capabilities

CENTENNIAL, Colo., March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Iontra Inc, a Colorado-based leader in next-generation battery charging technology, and Salom Europe Limited, a global leader in power supply solutions and battery chargers, today announced the unveiling of their first collaboration: an Iontra charge technology-enabled 100W USB Power Delivery (PD) wall charger that enables up to 2x longer cycle life / faster charging for most batteries that use USB PD chargers. The new charger will be demonstrated at the International Battery Seminar & Exhibit at booth no. 607, March 17-20, in Orlando, FL. "The world has been swiftly adopting USB power delivery for charging millions of products. The charger Salom and Iontra are releasing later this year is very different from the USB chargers in use today. We are very excited to be able to partner with a leading power supply and charger manufacturer relied upon by many global brands," said Jeff Granato, Iontra's Co-founder and CEO. "Salom and Iontra have done the hard work so that product OEMs can deliver dramatically better battery performance in their next product launch after just making a simple software change. The added benefits are improved customer experience and a positive impact on the environment. The introduction of this charger will be a big step for Iontra to achieve our mission of becoming the default charging standard in the industry." "This is the first of many innovations on our roadmap that will differentiate our solutions by combining the unique technologies and capabilities from our two companies," said Steve Hawes, Managing Director at Salom Europe Limited. "This first charger will offer significant advantages to our customers by maximizing battery charge performance and cycle life, as well as enabling them to accelerate their sustainability goals. It also supports traditional CCCV charging methods, providing compatibility with all battery-operated devices that charge over USB PD." Salom and Iontra are initially targeting to deploy the advanced charging technology in core applications that could benefit most from the Iontra technology capabilities including e-mobility (safe charging), portable personal care products (fast charging) and commercial drones (cycle life). This first product is planned as a 100W USB PD wall charger with future releases scaling to 240W with the USB 3.1 standard and will be able to support all battery-operated applications and associated value delivery through simple software configuration. The Iontra + Salom IBSE Demo at IBSE: Iontra's new Pluto-1S50 Evaluation Module will be a part of the demonstration, which provides a comprehensive overview of this charger's capabilities in terms of cycle life. Iontra will show an extended cycle life improvement using a Veken Pouch Cell (3.2Ah, LCO/GR Chemistry), a Pluto-1S50 module, and the Salom USB-PD Charger which provides Iontra waveform over USB-C cable to custom USB-Sink device. With a consistent 90-minute charge time, the Iontra cell reached the set limit of 80% usable capacity (end of usable life) at a staggering 1,580 cycles compared to the DC control charged cell which reached 80% EOL at 643 cycles with a charge time ranging between 90-180 minutes. Both cells underwent teardown at 75% SOH. In addition, showcasing the unique safety impact of Iontra charge technology, the Iontra cell at 1,580 cycles observed minimal, flat lithium plating, as opposed to the control cell at 643 cycles, which observed thicker and uneven plating growth, indicative of dendritic buildup. Iontra and Salom announced their strategic partnership in April 2024. The two companies are actively exploring the integration of Iontra charge technology into Salom's OEM customer solutions, whether in the charger products or directly in the end customer devices. Iontra's charging technology has demonstrated the ability to more than double the useful life of commercially available Lithium batteries and to charge them more than twice as fast and with greater overall safety. About IontraFounded in 2013, Iontra is a deep-tech Colorado-based fabless semiconductor and software solutions company that dramatically improves the charge speed, cycle life, capacity utilization, cold weather charging, and safety of all Lithium batteries.
