Japan's PM to Say He'll Quit as Soon as This Month, Yomiuri Says

Embattled Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba is set to announce his intention to resign as soon as this month, according to the Yomiuri newspaper.
Ishiba has already made his decision known to those close to him, the Yomiuri said Wednesday, while other local media said that he's set to make his announcement next month. The news came shortly after the US and Japan announced a deal to cut the US's car and across-the-board levies on Japan to 15%.
