Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus make red carpet debut

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus turned heads with their glamorous red carpet debut as a couple in Rome on Saturday, May 24. The pair attended the opening dinner for the 'Orizzonti | Rosso' exhibition at the stunning Palazzo Barberini. This marked their first public appearance together overseas since confirming their romance in April. Hurley, 59, dazzled in a vibrant Barbie-pink Safiyaa gown that hugged her figure and featured a plunging neckline with dramatic cape sleeves. She styled her brunette hair in soft waves and accessorised with statement earrings and silver platform sandals. This gave a subtle nod to her iconic '60s Austin Powers role, according to US Magazine. Her look was completed with a silver clutch and flawless makeup, including a smoky eye and nude lip. Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, complemented her with his signature country-rock vibe. He wore fitted black trousers adorned with silver medallions, a black jacket with leather accents, and classic Western boots. His look was topped off with a dark brown cowboy hat, sunglasses, and a thick chain necklace, keeping his trademark style intact. The couple was joined by Elizabeth's 23-year-old son, Damian Hurley, who made a bold statement in a striking red suit paired with sunglasses. The family trio posed arm-in-arm, radiating warmth and happiness as they entered the event in the heart of Italy's capital. Their romance took many by surprise when they went public with a cosy Instagram photo on Easter Sunday. They were locked in a loving embrace at Cyrus's Nashville estate. Since then, they have shared glimpses of their life, including countryside walks and off-road adventures, revealing a genuine connection built on shared interests. Elizabeth Hurley has spoken warmly about their bond, saying, 'We're actually quite similar and get on extremely well. We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country.' She added, 'We both love country music, movies, and cowboy boots, definitely'. Cyrus echoed this sentiment, recalling how their friendship blossomed into romance during a difficult period in his life. 'There was chemistry there. We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn't laughing a lot,' he shared. Elizabeth Hurley, a British icon, and Cyrus, a country music legend, show that love knows no borders or genres. Their stylish debut in Rome also highlights the global nature of celebrity culture, where fashion and romance intersect on the world stage. As Hurley approaches her 60th birthday on 10 June, she plans to celebrate this milestone with Cyrus by her side. Their story is a reminder that life's surprises can come at any age — and sometimes, in the most glamorous of ways. This enchanting couple continues to charm fans worldwide, proving that sometimes, the most unexpected romances shine the brightest. Cassie Ventura's 'best friend' Kerry Morgan says Sean 'Diddy' Combs attacked her with wooden hanger: 'I had a concussion, was dizzy…'

Cassie Ventura's friend Kerry Morgan says Sean 'Diddy' Combs attacked her (Source: X) A close friend of Cassie Ventura has come forward with disturbing claims against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, telling a jury that the rapper once assaulted her with a wooden hanger and offered hush money to keep her quiet, reports US Magazine . Kerry Morgan took the stand on Monday during Diddy's ongoing federal trial in the US. Her testimony followed that of Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie last week, during which the singer mentioned Morgan as someone she lost contact with after a violent episode. 'We were best friends,' Morgan said. 'We don't speak anymore.' Morgan described a 2018 incident where Diddy allegedly attacked her during a fit of rage over Cassie's relationship with someone else. 'I had a concussion. I was dizzy. I vomited a few times,' she told the court. She also claimed that both Cassie and Diddy offered her $30,000 in exchange for signing a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) after the attack. Morgan signed it and cut ties with Cassie, reports the US Magazine. Diddy 'dragged Cassie by her hair' Morgan's testimony supported several of Cassie's previous allegations regarding Diddy's alleged domestic abuse. She recalled witnessing physical abuse on at least two occasions. After one attack, she said she and Cassie hid for nearly half an hour on a neighbour's steps while Diddy drove around looking for them. In the second incident, Morgan said Diddy dragged Cassie by her hair. 'She hit her head on the brick and was motionless for 20 to 30 seconds,' Morgan said. 'I thought she was knocked out.' After Cassie regained consciousness, she ran into a wooded area. Morgan said they hid in a ditch for 'what felt like hours'. 'Combs controlled everything' Morgan spoke about how isolated Cassie became, saying she was one of the only friends who wasn't working for Diddy. 'Combs controlled everything,' she claimed. 'She lost her confidence big-time. She lost her spark,' Morgan said of Cassie. 'Sometimes she'd be frustrated because she'd be working on music and it would never work out. He was in charge of her career.' Morgan said Diddy's circle would often make Cassie feel better about the relationship. 'You could tell they were convincing her it was OK,' she added. Hammer attack after hotel assault Morgan also described the aftermath of a 2016 assault at a hotel in Los Angeles, part of what's now become a key piece of evidence. Cassie came home with a black eye, she said. About 30 minutes later, Diddy allegedly showed up and tried to break down the door with a hammer. 'Cassie was numb,' Morgan testified. 'I don't think she would've cared if he came in and killed her.' Diddy pleads not guilty, denies all claims Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and is facing charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transporting individuals to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations. Cassie had sued Diddy in November 2023, accusing him of years of physical and sexual abuse throughout their 11-year relationship. They settled the suit just one day later for $20 million.

Laura Harrier and her fiancé Sam Jarou 'split after more than four years together'

Laura Harrier and her fiancé Sam Jarou have reportedly split after more than four years together. The Spider-Man Homecoming actress, 35, and her fashion consultant partner had appeared loved-up in social media posts until as recently as January. But they have now called time on their relationship, according to US Magazine, after confirming their engagement in 2022. A source told the publication that Laura and Sam's break-up was 'amicable' and they have 'remained friends' since parting ways. The split comes just a matter of months after Laura made headlines when she was videoed with American actor Shameik Moore, leading to speculation that the pair could have sparked a romance. Shameik had posted a video of him and and Laura in December captioned 'coming soon'. The BlacKklansman actress took to her social media to hit back at the post, however, claiming it 'annoyed her'. In a now-deleted TikTok, she said: 'I keep seeing all these videos that I'm being tagged in with another actor, and people speculating what that is. It's really annoying me because I'm literally engaged, and that's important to me. 'I'm in Hollywood, I get it. People do PR stunts, whatever. People like to get attention.' Sam and Laura met in 2019 but kept their relationship under wraps until 2021, when they were spotted kissing in Monaco. In September of that year, Laura announced the pair were engaged after a 'simple and sweet' proposal in Paris. Speaking about her engagement, Laura said she had found 'peace and calm' with Sam, who she called 'the one'. 'It was really simple (the proposal),' she told Cosmopolitan. 'I never wanted one of those big showy public engagements. that's just not my personality. In response to how she knew that he was the one for the ultimate collaboration, she answered: 'The cliché of when you know, you know. I never really believed it until that happened to me. 'It's a funny feeling when you just find peace and calm. 'I also really do believe that you need to be ready within yourself before you can find somebody else to be with, which I also always thought was a cliché until I felt secure within myself and the person I am and where I'm at in life.' Harrier first rose to fame at the age of 17 when she was discovered by a location scout in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois. In 2017, she landed her first breakout role alongside British actor Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which she played his character's love interest. She also made waves in 2018's BlacKkKlansman, in which she played the role of civil rights activist Patrice Dumas. The role earned her a Black Reel Award and a SAG Award nomination. Harrier is also an ambassador for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Calvin Klein and Boss.

Lily Allen says sorry to Katy Perry for 'being mean' while calling out her Blue Origin flight

Actor-singer Lily Allen has apologised to singer Katy Perry for singling her out in her criticism of the recent all-female Blue Origin space flight. Lily said she blamed her 'own internalised misogyny' for making past comments about the trip. Also read: Katy Perry refuses to give in to massive backlash for 'dream come true' space flight Lily, 39, issued an apology on Monday during an episode of her Miss Me? Podcast. After Lily's cohost Miquita Oliver mentioned Meghan Markle, the singer elaborated on the recent drama, reports US Magazine. The apology came after Lily labelled the flight 'out of touch' amid global economic struggles, criticising Katy and her fellow female passengers for taking part in the trip. She said, 'Because we're talking about a very famous female person who's a bit divisive, I would actually like to apologise for being mean about Katy Perry last week. There was actually no need for me to bring her name into it, and it was my own internalized misogyny.' Lily added, 'I've been thinking about it a lot, and it was just completely unnecessary to pile on with her. I do disagree with what it was that they did, but she wasn't the only person that did it. She was possibly the most famous and the one that divides people the most. There was something in me that decided to choose her as the person that should… Anyway, I just, I'm really sorry. I would have been hurt if it had been me and someone in my industry used me and my name. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Katy Perry, I know you don't listen to the show, but yeah, sorry.' Katy grabbed headlines for her all-female Blue Origin space mission that took place on April 14. The singer joined Lauren Sanchez, television host Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe and civil rights activist and research scientist Amanda Nguyen for an 11-minute trip to space. However, several celebrities slammed the move and called it tasteless. 'I just think it's so out of touch. We're on the brink of recession, people are really f--king struggling to make ends meet and get food on their table,' Lily said in the April 17 episode. Katy for her part, has remained largely tight-lipped about the backlash.
