Laura Harrier and her fiancé Sam Jarou 'split after more than four years together'
Laura Harrier and her fiancé Sam Jarou have reportedly split after more than four years together.
The Spider-Man Homecoming actress, 35, and her fashion consultant partner had appeared loved-up in social media posts until as recently as January.
But they have now called time on their relationship, according to US Magazine, after confirming their engagement in 2022.
A source told the publication that Laura and Sam's break-up was 'amicable' and they have 'remained friends' since parting ways.
The split comes just a matter of months after Laura made headlines when she was videoed with American actor Shameik Moore, leading to speculation that the pair could have sparked a romance.
Shameik had posted a video of him and and Laura in December captioned 'coming soon'.
The BlacKklansman actress took to her social media to hit back at the post, however, claiming it 'annoyed her'.
In a now-deleted TikTok, she said: 'I keep seeing all these videos that I'm being tagged in with another actor, and people speculating what that is. It's really annoying me because I'm literally engaged, and that's important to me.
'I'm in Hollywood, I get it. People do PR stunts, whatever. People like to get attention.'
Sam and Laura met in 2019 but kept their relationship under wraps until 2021, when they were spotted kissing in Monaco.
In September of that year, Laura announced the pair were engaged after a 'simple and sweet' proposal in Paris.
Speaking about her engagement, Laura said she had found 'peace and calm' with Sam, who she called 'the one'.
'It was really simple (the proposal),' she told Cosmopolitan.
'I never wanted one of those big showy public engagements. that's just not my personality.
In response to how she knew that he was the one for the ultimate collaboration, she answered: 'The cliché of when you know, you know. I never really believed it until that happened to me.
'It's a funny feeling when you just find peace and calm.
'I also really do believe that you need to be ready within yourself before you can find somebody else to be with, which I also always thought was a cliché until I felt secure within myself and the person I am and where I'm at in life.'
Harrier first rose to fame at the age of 17 when she was discovered by a location scout in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
In 2017, she landed her first breakout role alongside British actor Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which she played his character's love interest.
She also made waves in 2018's BlacKkKlansman, in which she played the role of civil rights activist Patrice Dumas. The role earned her a Black Reel Award and a SAG Award nomination.
Harrier is also an ambassador for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Calvin Klein and Boss.

A Real Housewives of Atlanta star's estranged husband has reportedly been deported from the US after months in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention centre. Porsha Williams', 43, estranged husband Simon Guobadia, 61, is said to have been released from ICE custody and deported back to Nigeria, where the businessman was born. Guobadia is no longer listed on the US Department of Homeland Security system, which has details of all those in ICE custody. A friend and business partner of Guobadia's, Tai Savet, has said he is in 'good spirits' after a difficult four months in detention. Amid ongoing protests in Los Angeles over the government's immigration crackdown, Savet told Us Weekly that Guobadia isn't angry at President Donald Trump, but would like a sit-down meeting with him. 'It's disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family,' she wrote on Instagram. Guobadia moved to the US in 1982 but reportedly overstayed his visa and was deported in 1992, local outlet WSB-TV reported. He then returned to the country and attempted to gain citizenship over the years, unsuccessfully. Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson to meet up this weekend after brutal dig
Made In Chelsea star, Sam Thompson, is playing on the same team as his ex Zara McDermott's new boyfriend, Louis Tomlinson, for Soccer Aid at Old Trafford this weekend Sam Thompson is about to get up close and personal with his ex's new man, Louis Tomlinson, after admitting he was 'blindsided' by the One Direction star. Zara McDermott split up from the Made In Chelsea alum in January and is now dating pop icon, Louis, who is playing on the same team as Sam for Soccer Aid this weekend. One Direction fans were shocked when Zara moved on with Louis, with Sam making a sly dig about the relationship shortly after the news went viral. Hinting that Zara may have moved on too soon, he said: "I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people right? And they look for the next person instantly because it's like 'I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement.'" READ MORE: Pete Wicks rages after Sam Thompson tells him about cafe you 'can't eat anything' at Louis and Sam are now set to come face to face when they play for England at Soccer Aid at Old Trafford on the weekend, where they will be joined by sports stars, including Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville. However, the question on everyone's lips is how will the ex and current boyfriend of Zara get on. Explaining that he was asked about the awkward meet-up during an interview recently, Sam told his mate, Pete Wicks on their podcast: "At the end of the interview, he goes, 'Look mate, I've got to ask the question that everyone wants to know. This is sort of the big question really, the elephant in the room, What's it going to be like with you and Louis? Obviously he's doing Soccer Aid too.'" Sam continued: "Mate, you should have seen the room, everybody, it was a silent then everyone goes 'Woah, Woah Woah, end the call! End the call!' and I have just gone 'No, no guys, I've got this, I've got this.' I held my hands up to say just relax. "I think I did alright and I meant everything I said as well, that it's not about me or Louis or who anyone is dating, it's f**king Unicef and charity and everyone is going to be there for the exact same reason. "And if he has anything about him which I've heard he does, he's going to sit there and say the exact same thing." When interviewed by The Mirror and asked this question in May, Sam said: "I've never met Louis, but the moment I see him, I'll be like, 'mate, how amazing is this what we're doing, and hopefully we can make as much money as possible. "And I imagine – from what I hear is a really lovely bloke – I imagine the reply will be exactly the same." Sam has already raised over £1.5 million for Unicef by cycling and running from Stamford Bridge to Old Trafford and told us of his achievement: "I am totally broken - but so happy. "The fact this challenge has grabbed everyone's attention is just so incredible and I have just been blown away!"
