Ten NI eateries shortlisted for Restaurant of the Year Award
Ten restaurants across Northern Ireland have been shortlisted for the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Award 2025.
Several eateries in Belfast and beyond have made the shortlist for the food delivery service's UK and Ireland awards.
Six entries are based in Belfast – Seed, Nu Delhi, Oregano, Kanton Asian Fusian, SAKURA Japanese & Asian and The Sphinx in Stranmillis.
Love Street Dogs and Eatao Asian Fusion – both based in Craigavon – are also on the list alongside Dex in Dungannon and Madison's Pizzeria in Banbridge.
The eateries are in the running to win the £100,000 grand prize which they can invest to grow their business.
Joining this year's judging panel is musician and chef Levi Roots, Irish celebrity chef Clodagh McKenna, and 2024 winner Natty Crutchfield.
This year's awards will also see a new Gen-Z category to champion the next generation of hospitality leaders across the UK and Ireland.
In addition to the grand prize and Next Gen award, Uber Eats will honour excellence across five Trailblazer categories: Women in Food Award; Climate Impact Award; Healthy Eats Award; Social Impact Award and the Next Gen Award.
Celebrity chef judge Clodagh McKenna said: 'I'm backing our amazing small restaurants this year, Ireland's food culture is brimming with creativity and community spirit.'
In addition to the top prize, all regional finalists will receive a €6,000 (£5,000) grant and a bespoke support package from Uber Eats to help them scale and innovate their business.
Matthew Price, General Manager of Uber Eats UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, said: 'We're proud to be championing the future of food with these awards.
