Star Plus has issued a diktat to the production house to increase the ratings or shut shop. Jhanak is doing well in terms of ratings at the 10:30 pm slot; however, the channel is unhappy with the numbers. They want the show to generate at least 2 TVRs in the late-night slot. One has to consider that shows like Jaadu Teri Nazar, Anupama, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have also witnessed a massive drop in their viewership. It seems the channel is only focusing on Jhanak, which is a bit unfair," reported the media outlet.
