Ugandan shilling stable; to ease due to importer FX demand
KAMPALA, June 23 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday and it could weaken, driven by dollar demand from merchandise importers, traders said. At 0858 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,603/3,613, compared with Friday's closing rate of 3,600/3,610.

KAMPALA, June 13 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling weakened on Friday, pressured by a resurgence in demand for hard currency from interbank players seeking to bolster their positions, traders said. Ugandan shilling broadly stable, under mild pressure
KAMPALA, June 4 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was broadly stable against the dollar on Wednesday, although was under mild pressure as importers in the manufacturing and energy sectors sought foreign exchange, traders said. At 0845 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,637/3,647, compared to Monday's close of 3,635/3,645. Markets were closed on Tuesday for a national holiday.
