International student & youth symposium discusses Al-Quds issue & calls for global solidarity to support Palestine
Sana'a - Saba: The University Student Forum at Yemeni universities organized an international online student and youth symposium under the title " Al-Quds in the Eyes of Youth, Responsibility and the Danger of Inaction". The seminar, in which representatives of student organizations, components and movements from Arab and foreign countries from Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Iran, Sudan, Sudan, Algeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Bahrain, Italy, Brazil, Turkey, Pakistan, America, Nigeria and Australia participated, comes as part of the activities of International Al-Quds Day. In the seminar, Khaled Badiwi, head of the PIJ Education Committee, pointed out that Jerusalem is the cause of every free person who believes in justice, and that the liberation of Jerusalem requires comprehensive action on the political, economic and media levels. The representative of the Progressive Students Union - Palestine, Faris Al-Sufi, addressed the crimes of displacement and systematic killing in Gaza by the Zionist enemy, calling for the formation of a global popular front to expose the Zionist narrative and spread the Palestinian narrative through social media platforms. For his part, the representative of the University Student Forum in Yemen, Dr. Mustafa Shari, called for efforts to boycott American and Israeli goods, and to mobilize all students of universities, colleges, institutes and schools. The speakers emphasized that Al-Quds Day is not a passing occasion, but a symbol of the unity of the Islamic nation , a call to confront Judaization and Israeli violations. Honoring winners of "Al-Aqsa Flood" scientific competition at Commerce Faculty ,Sana'a University
Sana'a - Saba: The College of Commerce and Economics at Sana'a University and the University Student Forum honored on Wednesday the winners of "Al-Aqsa Flood" scientific competition, members of the student forum and the scientific committee for the academic year 1446 AH. The competition, which lasted two weeks, with the participation of 470 male and female students from the first and second levels, aimed to enhance the spirit of competition among students, develop their intellectual abilities, encourage , motivate them to achieve scientific achievement and compete for advanced positions. At the ceremony, the Vice Dean of the College of Commerce for Community Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Matri, pointed out the significance and symbolism of honoring the first and top winners of the scientific competition among the college students in the first and second stages, which culminated today in honoring the top achievers who represent the future generation. Hodeida university holds event commemorating martyr President al-Sammad
Hodeida - Saba: Hodeida University and the University Student Forum organized on Sunday a cultural and intellectual event to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad. The event, titled "Martyr al-Sammad is the most sublime model of the Quranic culture school," highlighted the leadership qualities, sacrifices, and contributions of President al-Sammad. Deputy governor for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi praised President al-Sammad's leadership and his commitment to serving the nation. He emphasized that the martyrdom of President al-Sammad did not hinder the progress of the nation's development and that Yemen continues to move forward based on the principles and vision of its leaders. The event also featured speeches by university officials, who discussed the importance of learning from the life and legacy of President al-Sammad and his contributions to the nation.
