The 27-year-old reveals in the June 3 episode of her Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast that dad Todd Chrisley and mom Julie Chrisley need some time to settle back into their daily lives after being released from prison, thanks to a full pardon from President Donald Trump, before they jointly speak about their prison experience. "I cannot wait to have them on the podcast. That is going to happen before the end of June," she says. "So they're gonna come on the podcast and we're gonna talk about their experiences, their life in prison, and now their life after." Savannah also revealed that Todd, 57, and Julie, 52, will be "relaunching" their podcast, Chrisley Confessions. "I am so excited for that … and for them to have a place to share their story and be truly authentically themselves after the past two and a half years," she says. Chrisley Confessions, which began in August 2018, has been on hiatus ever since the reality TV couple reported to prison in January 2023 to serve time after being found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud. They were originally sentenced to a combined 19 years behind bars, though that number was later reduced. President Trump, 78, announced he was giving the Chrisley Knows Best stars a full pardon on May 27 and both Todd and Julie were released from their separate federal prisons the following day. "I can't wait for the trips and family moments and to make up for lost time. But obviously, it's gonna take us a little while to get back to normal life, and I'm just excited." Savannah ended the podcast with a message to her followers, saying, "Please just keep following because our story is just getting started." Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE in her first interview since her parents' release, Savannah said it has been "an adjustment" for her parents and that they were "kind of just in shock." "It's just a big adjustment when you're in prison for two and a half years, and then you go back to so-called normal life. I can't imagine," she said. "I just think it's a lot for them, but they're enjoying it. We're all spending time together." Savannah added, "And obviously, when they're ready to talk about their feelings and emotions, I know that they will articulate it well, like they always do." Read the original article on People

Savannah Chrisley Speaks Out in First Interview Since Todd and Julie's Prison Release, Says Her Parents Are 'in Shock' (Exclusive)

The Chrisley family is adjusting to a new era. Todd and Julie Chrisley returned home from prison on Wednesday, May 28, after President Donald Trump issued full and unconditional pardons. Now, their daughter Savannah Chrisley tells PEOPLE exclusively how the couple and their family are adjusting to their new normal. "Oh my gosh, it has been amazing. It's still just kind of ... it doesn't feel real," the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast host, 27, says. "We were going to bed last night. We're like, 'Is this real?' And then, I wake up this morning and my mom's walking into my bedroom and I'm like, it's absolutely insane!" "We are just so grateful and ready to kind of start getting back to normal life, obviously, the best we can," she continues. "Everything's a whirlwind right now, and it's kind hard to live a normal life with how things are right now, but we'll get there." As for how her parents are doing overall, Savannah says: "I do know that they're doing great." "It's obviously an adjustment. ... I think they're kind of just in shock right now," she explains. "It's just a big adjustment when you're in prison for two and a half years, and then you go back to so-called normal life. I can't imagine." "I just think it's a lot for them, but they're enjoying it. We're all spending time together," she adds. "And obviously, when they're ready to talk about their feelings and emotions, I know that they will articulate it well, like they always do." Todd, 57, and Julie, 52, were indicted in August 2019 and later convicted in 2022. After being sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in November 2022 (though it was reduced in September 2023), they reported to prison in January 2023. They had been appealing their case ever since. During that time, Savannah became both the family breadwinner and legal caretaker of her younger siblings Grayson, now 19, and Chloe, now 12. She was also inspired to not only launch her Good Girl RX business (an endeavor she's also doing while building up her real estate business) but diving into prison reform. "I'm not just going to be working with CPAC [Conservative Political Action Conference]. I'm going to be working with so many other organizations. There's another organization that I'm in talks with now, just about having a larger role within their organization, and I'm super excited about that. So I'll be back in DC probably within the next week or two," she explains. is now available in the Apple App Store! What ignited this flame was obviously my parents and fighting for them and getting them home. But once I saw the system and how broken it was, and I started to foster relationships with these men and women that are in prison, I just knew that I had to do something about it. So thanks to my parents and their story, it's opened my eyes to something so much greater. And right now, it's just when the fight begins." The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! Savannah says her parents are committed to helping, too. "I know that they just have a heart now. They have a heart for these men, women that are in prison and who they feel like they've left behind," she says. "It's like the saying, when you know better, you do better. And they've experienced it firsthand, and now they know too much to not do something about it. So, I do know that it's going to be a large focus of theirs." Read the original article on People

Originally appeared on E! Online The Chrisleys worked for their release. After Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley returned home from prison following unexpected presidential pardons from Donald Trump, the White House credits their daughter Savannah Chrisley for the decision. 'The celebrity part really didn't play a role in this,' Pardon Czar Alice Marie Johnson shared on NewsNation Live May 29. 'I'm going to say that if they did not have a daughter like Savannah who was out there fighting for them, they would not have been pardoned.' 'These are everyday Americans who deserve a second chance,' she continued. 'I've really been looking at those who pose no safety risk, don't have victims of violent crimes. These people need to be returned to their families. They really get a chance to have a second shot at life.' Alice commended Savannah, 27, for stepping up since her parents—who also share 28-year-old son Chase Chrisley, as well as Todd and ex-wife Teresa Terry's kids Lindsie Chrisley, 35, and Kyle Chrisley, 33—were convicted of tax evasion and wire fraud in 2022. Savannah Chrisley Says She and Robert Shiver Have 'Definitely Talked About' Marriage but Have Things to 'Work Through' First (Exclusive)

Could wedding bells be around the corner for Savannah Chrisley? PEOPLE broke the news of the Chrisley Knows Best alum's relationship with Robert Shiver, a former football player-turned-insurance company staffer, in September 2024 but the pair began dating a few weeks earlier on August 17, 2023. Things have gotten pretty serious between the pair in their nearly two years together — and marriage discussions have been on the table. "We've definitely talked about it. We both know, 'Hey, this is what we want out of life.' But he's got some stuff to work through on his side of things before that can ever happen," Savannah, 27, says, referencing Robert's estranged wife Lindsay Shiver, who is currently awaiting trial after allegedly hiring a hitman to murder him. "I think what I love is that we're not even really focused on that. I feel like it's so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, 'Oh, you've been together for two years. You need to get engaged, you need to get married.'" "I've always said, I want this huge wedding. I want all these things. When in reality, I feel like, when you're in the right situation, you're in the right relationship, you don't need all these crazy, outward, extravagant things to prove your love for someone," she explains. In the meantime, Savannah is focused on caring for her younger siblings Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 12, while their parents Todd, 55, and Julie, 52, remain in prison on fraud and tax evasion charges. (Shiver also has children of his own with his estranged wife.) "He and I, we're both just so focused on our kids and making sure they're in the healthiest places possible, and that they're thriving and succeeding," Savannah says. "My mom's always said, 'You're only as happy as your saddest child.' I truly do believe and feel that. So, we want to make sure that his kids and Chloe and Grayson are happy, and healthy and whole. That's our main focus." I just believe that when the timing's right, and when it's supposed to happen, it's going to happen," she adds. Savannah has also moved her attention toward the launch of her video-commerce telehealth company, Good Girl RX. With the help of Verb Technology Company, Inc., Good Girl RX will make high-quality health care more accessible to female patients. "I have been very outspoken about my endometriosis and the issues that I deal with. I saw that there was a gap in what women need when it comes to specialized care. I don't want to just fix a problem when it happens. I want to prevent a problem before it happens," she says. "With Good Girl RX, we're really going to be focusing on women's health. We have children's [vitamin] packs, teen [vitamin] packs, period packs, premenopausal, postmenopausal," she shares. "With my endometriosis, I'm looking into a medication that they have in Australia that we don't have here in the U.S. that was shown to work wonders for women who have endometriosis. I really want to focus on things that aren't being focused on. Women don't get enough individualized care." Read the original article on People
