Linkin Park's ‘From Zero' Rocks Album Charts After Deluxe Reissue
Linkin Park's 2024 album From Zero returns to a bevy of Billboard's album charts (dated May 31) following its deluxe reissue with additional tracks on May 16. The set reenters Top Album Sales (at No. 5), Top Hard Rock Albums (No. 4), Vinyl Albums (No. 8), Top Alternative Albums (No. 9), Top Rock Albums (No. 15), Top Rock & Alternative Albums (No. 17), Indie Store Album Sales (No. 17) and the Billboard 200 (No. 71). From Zero debuted at No. 1 on all of the above charts last November, save for the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales, where it arrived at No. 2. The same week From Zero's deluxe impacted the album charts, one of the new songs added to the project, 'Up From the Bottom,' hit No. 1 on both the Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay charts. In the tracking week ending May 22, From Zero earned 14,000 equivalent album units (up 173%), with traditional album sales comprising 7,500 of that sum (up 531%). The latter figure pushes the album's reentry on Top Album Sales at No. 5. Elsewhere in the top 10 of the all-genre Top Album Sales chart, five albums debut in the region from Morgan Wallen, Jin, BOYNEXTDOOR, Sleep Theory and MEOVV. Billboard's Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales. The chart's history dates back to May 25, 1991, the first week Billboard began tabulating charts with electronically monitored piece count information from SoundScan, now Luminate. Pure album sales were the sole measurement utilized by the Billboard 200 albums chart through the list dated Dec. 6, 2014, after which that chart switched to a methodology that blends album sales with track equivalent album (TEA) units and streaming equivalent album (SEA) units. Wallen's I'm the Problem launches at No. 1 on Top Album Sales with a career-best 133,000 sold, marking his fourth top 10-charting effort (all have reached the top three). Jin's Echo enters at No. 2 with 35,000 sold, garnering the singer his second effort to reach the top three. BOYNEXTDOOR's 4th EP: No Genre starts at a career-high No. 3 with nearly 14,000 sold; it's the fourth top 10 for the act. Sleep Token's Even in Arcadia falls 1-4 in its second week on the chart (nearly 8,000; down 90%), while the aforementioned From Zero reenters the list at No. 5. Kali Uchis' Sincerely. retreats 2-6 in its second week (just over 7,000; down 81%), Kendrick Lamar's chart-topping GNX climbs 8-7 (7,000; up 6%) and P1Harmony's DUH! dips 3-6 in its second week (nearly 7,000; down 69%). Rounding out the latest top 10 is Sleep Theory's first full-length set Afterglow, which scores the band its first top 10 (and chart entry) with its No. 9 debut (6,500) and MEOVV, who sees their debut EP My Eyes Open VVIDE start at No. 10 (6,000). Linkin Park Nearly Doubles The Competition's Chart Success
Linkin Park dominates the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart in the U.K. with seven songs, more ... More than any other rock act this week. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 17: (FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY) (L-R) Colin Brittain, Emily Armstrong, Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn of Linkin Park attend the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 17, 2025. Broadcasted live on FOX. (Photo byfor iHeartRadio) To this day, Linkin Park remains one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the modern era. In the United Kingdom, the group continues to find space on the charts — not just with the classics that made the nu-metal favorites superstars a quarter-century ago, but also with comeback tunes released just months ago. Such longevity is rare among rock acts, especially those that helped pioneer a style many would argue has largely disappeared. But Linkin Park continues to stand out as a commercial force, both with full-length projects and singles. This week, the group dominates one songs chart in the U.K., with multiple comeback cuts appearing near one another. Linkin Park manages to beat all other rock groups from every era with ease, and almost doubles the total sum of a handful of the biggest and best to ever do it. Linkin Park fills seven spaces on the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart this week. The tally, which ranks the bestselling tunes in those styles, only features 40 spots, so claiming even just a handful of positions is quite the coup. Half of Linkin Park's current hits return to the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart. "One Step Closer," "What I've Done," and "Heavy" reenter the list at Nos. 30, 34, and 39, respectively. Four other tracks by Linkin Park — "Numb," "The Emptiness Machine," "Faint," and "Up From the Bottom" — are also still present on the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart at the moment. "Numb" is the highest-ranking of the bunch, as it holds at No. 9. Both "The Emptiness Machine" and "Faint" climb from where they sat last time, this week settling at Nos. 13 and 28, respectively. "Up From the Bottom," meanwhile, reverses course and drops from No. 27 to No. 35. Linkin Park's seven current hits become even more impressive when compared to the next most successful names on the Official Rock and Metal Singles tally. Both Queen and AC/DC are tied for the second-most smashes this time around, with four apiece. Linkin Park nearly matches those bands' cumulative sum.

Linkin Park Is Only Competing With Its Own Record On The Charts
Linkin Park continues to prove its dominance at rock radio decades after the first hit was produced. That's a huge accomplishment, as so many acts that score big successes on the radio waves don't hold on for long – and they usually can't continue to land massive smashes more than 20 years later. Thanks to the incredible success of "Up From the Bottom," Linkin Park not only scores a new No. 1 on a very important ranking, but the band even manages to break two of its own records. "Up From the Bottom" rises from No. 4 to No. 1 on Billboard's Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, giving Linkin Park another major radio smash. The track fronts the upcoming deluxe edition of From Zero, the full-length project the band released in the fall of 2024. That album marked Linkin Park's first major comeback effort following the death of frontman Chester Bennington, and it was an immediate commercial triumph. Now, with "Up From the Bottom" racing to the top, the group extends the winning streak it kicked off several months ago. With "Up From the Bottom," Linkin Park claims its eighth No. 1 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. Even more impressive than the total number is the fact that the new smash becomes the group's fifth consecutive leader on the ranking. Linkin Park previously (and fairly recently) topped the chart with "Lost," "Friendly Fire," "The Emptiness Machine," and "Heavy Is the Crown." That four-single streak had already set a new record for the most consecutive No. 1s on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. Now, the band extends its own stretch with a fifth straight win. In addition to collecting another No. 1, Linkin Park also breaks yet another of its own records thanks to how quickly "Up From the Bottom" storms the summit. The tune bolts to No. 1 in just its third week on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. That's a shockingly short period for any composition to reach the top. Radio-based rankings typically move much more slowly, as they are powered by DJ and programmer decisions rather than fan-driven consumption. Linkin Park almost ties its own all-time record here. Last year, the group's single "The Emptiness Machine," the lead offering from the original From Zero release, raced to No. 1 in just its second week on the tally. That cut ended up leading the list for 15 weeks.

Linkin Park Beats Pearl Jam On The Charts
Linkin Park's 'Up From the Bottom' cracks the top 10 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart, ... More helping the band break a tie with Pearl Jam and Weezer for the fifth-most top 10s. HAMBURG, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 22: (EDITOR'S NOTE: alternative crop) Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong of Linkin Park perform at Barclays Arena on September 22, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Joern Pollex/Redferns) Linkin Park has already demonstrated that its comeback is one of the most exciting in recent memory, but the band isn't done showing just how beloved it remains to this day. The band's latest single, 'Up From the Bottom,' has been rocketing up the Billboard charts since its release a few weeks ago, and this frame, it enjoys a major lift that not only adds to the group's long list of smashes, but also helps it pull ahead of some legendary peers in the alternative space. 'Up From the Bottom' climbs from No. 11 to No. 7 on the Alternative Airplay chart. That Billboard ranking tracks the tunes that rack up the largest total number of audience impressions across U.S. radio stations that specialize in alternative music. The cut is now another major single for Linkin Park, one which helps the rockers push past some familiar faces. By lifting into the top 10 once again, Linkin Park claims its twenty second top 10 hit on the Alternative Airplay ranking. Last week, the group was locked in a three-way tie with fellow favorites Pearl Jam and Weezer, all sitting with 21 appearances each inside the coveted upper region. Now, Linkin Park breaks free, standing alone with the fifth-most top 10 placements in the history of the Alternative Airplay chart. While Linkin Park continues to climb this all-time ranking, it still trails a few genre giants. Foo Fighters reign supreme with 31 top 10 hits on Alternative Airplay chart, and the rockers maintain a sizable lead. Just behind that act come the Red Hot Chili Peppers with 28, Green Day with 27, and U2 with 23. 'Up From the Bottom' serves as the lead single from Linkin Park's forthcoming deluxe reissue of From Zero, the album that marked its celebrated comeback late last year. The expanded version of the project is expected to arrive in May. As 'Up From the Bottom' continues to surge, Linkin Park is keeping promotion of the upcoming set going. On Friday (April 25), the band dropped 'Unshattered,' the second official single from the From Zero deluxe project. That tune could impact Billboard's charts in the coming days – and perhaps eventually even become another radio success story.

Linkin Park's Latest Single Denied No. 1 By Another Hard Rock Favorite
Linkin Park is back with yet another single that's become a quick bestseller. The group's latest release, 'Unshattered,' arrived on Friday (April 25) — and within hours, it was already (nearly) dominating sales platforms in the U.S. The tune quickly shot toward the top of the iTunes chart, as it's one of the most exciting new musical offerings this week. 'Unshattered' lands at No. 2 on the list of the top-selling songs on iTunes in the U.S. this week, as of the time of writing. The only composition keeping the band from the summit is 'Damocles,' the brand new single from fellow hard rock act Sleep Token. That cut currently holds at No. 1, blocking Linkin Park from yet another chart-topper, at least for the time being. The new track isn't just a standalone release — it's the latest piece tied to the band's latest full-length. 'Unshattered' is the second single taken from the upcoming deluxe edition of From Zero, Linkin Park's most recent album. The original version of the set dropped in fall 2024 and marked a very special return for the group. From Zero was the band's first release with new vocalist Emily Armstrong, who stepped in following the death of Chester Bennington several years ago. The studio effort represented a pivotal moment in Linkin Park's career, as for quite a while, no one knew what would happen with the outfit, or if the rockers would ever make music again. Just a month ago, Linkin Park dropped 'Up From the Bottom,' the first single from the forthcoming deluxe edition. That song helped reinvigorate interest in From Zero and proved to be a rock radio smash. This week, ' Up From the Bottom' climbs to No. 1 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, giving Linkin Park yet another smash. The original edition of From Zero produced four singles, and the first of them was a true juggernaut. 'The Emptiness Machine' turned into one of the biggest wins in Linkin Park's history. It soared to No. 1 on several of Billboard's rock-focused charts, and held on for months. That blockbuster was followed by three more focus tracks: 'Heavy as the Crown,' 'Over Each Other,' and 'Two-Faced.' Of that trio, 'Heavy as the Crown' became the most successful, earning lengthy stays on a handful of tallies, as it's actually still present inside the top 10 on a pair of Billboard rankings, months after its release.
