Zubayr Griffin earns MVP of Upstate All-Star Showcase
ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The high school basketball season may be over, but that doesn't mean that local talent isn't still competing, one of which is the 2,000 point scorer and state champion himself, Zubayr Griffin.
Over the weekend, Griffin participated in the Upstate All-Star Showcase in Albany. In the game, he did what he's been doing all season. The Monmouth commit dropped 26 points, finishing the performance with the game-winning bucket in overtime. He was also named the Upstate All-Star Showcase MVP in the process.
Despite his high school season being over, we can expect to see Griffin continue with his talents for years to come.
