Urban Automotive unveils customized Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II at Goodwood

Urban Automotive, the British luxury car modifier known for its carbon-fiber body kits for high-end models, has put its spin on the refreshed Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. This updated version of Rolls' only SUV, marked by a new front fascia with prominent vertical LED daytime running lights, is already proving popular with tuners, but Urban Automotive aims to distinguish itself with what it calls "OEM+" standards of build quality. The Cullinan Series II "Redefined by Urban" will initially be offered in the United Kingdom with a starting price of 449,995 British pounds ($609,842 at current exchange rates), and production at the company's facility in Milton Keynes (also home of the Red Bull Racing F1 team). But Urban's expansion into the U.S. with a dedicated facility means these modifications could soon be available to customers on this side of the Atlantic as well. What customers get for that considerable chunk of change is a full carbon-fiber body kit, including a new front bumper, two-piece splitter, fender flares, sill extensions, a rear bumper with diffuser and anodized aluminum exhaust finishers, and a pair of spoilers. The package also includes 24-inch Urban-Vossen forged wheels. "We felt the Series II model needed a more aggressive look and some Urban enhancements to its design," Urban Automotive founder Simon Dearn said in a statement. Dearn pointed out the DRLs, which extend down nearly to the bottom of the front bumper. That fits with Urban's "OEM+" ethos, as it largely follows the stock styling. So do the vertical bars in the front bumper's air intakes, which match the grille. But the look is also indeed more aggressive than stock. It's unlikely that Rolls-Royce would produce anything with such prominent fender flares, and the quad exhaust tips and rear diffuser are markers of performance not normally associated with Rolls. Speaking of performance, Urban didn't discuss any modifications to the Cullinan's twin-turbocharged 6.7-liter V12, which makes up to 591 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque in Series II Black Badge models. Just last week, Urban Automotive announced the opening of a dedicated Americas division, anchored by a new warehouse and distribution facility in Phoenix, Arizona. The company previously relied on Tennessee-based Milltek Corp. for U.S. distribution. Urban has said that running its own facility is intended to reduce delivery times, improve customer service, and build more relationships with dealers and car builders in the U.S. Founded in 2014, Urban reported a 173% year-over-year increase in overseas sales in 2023, helping to justify its U.S. expansion. Radical Land Rover Defender 90 Convertible Debuts At Goodwood

Radical Land Rover Defender 90 Convertible Debuts At Goodwood originally appeared on Autoblog. The current Land Rover Defender 90 is just as capable off-road as the classic models it replaced, but unlike those Defenders of yore, it's not available as a convertible. British firm Urban Automotive and Dutch coachbuilder Heritage Customs—recently merged under parent company AM Group—have an aftermarket alternative. Debuting at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Urban Widetrack Heritage Series Soft-Top combines Heritage Customs' Valiance soft-top conversion for the Defender with one of Urban Automotive's carbon-fiber body kits. It's the first convertible modified by Urban Automotive, which specializes in high-end models from brands like Land Rover and Rolls-Royce. Heritage Customs offers forged wheels, accessories, and custom interiors, but its most ambitious projects are the Defender 90-based Valiance convertible and the Defender 130-based Valiance pickup. For the convertible, the donor car's chassis is reinforced with a custom roll cage to account for the loss of rigidity from removing some bodywork. Valiance convertibles were already available in limited numbers, but this one got additional customization from Urban. It wears the company's Widetrack fender flares, XRS (Extreme Road Series) vented hood, and some smaller items, including carbon-fiber mirror caps, lower front canards, and additional square daytime running lights. It rolls on black 23-inch wheels that match the paint and most of the exterior trim. In contrast to the darkened exterior, the interior features riotous Hermes Orange leather upholstery, with Recaro front seats. The orange leather even covers the roll cage and a custom dashboard overlay. That approach is apparently resonating with customers looking to modify their cars, as Urban is rapidly expanding to meet what the company says is increasing demand. In addition to the merger with Heritage Customers, Urban recently acquired a 42,000-square-foot facility in the United Kingdom and a warehouse and distribution facility in the United States. It's also continuing to launch new builds and products. It displayed a newly-modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II and Range Rover Sport alongside the Defender convertible at Goodwood. Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack Debuts With 635 HP At Goodwood

Urban Automotive has taken the wraps off the Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025. As the name suggests, the modified car is based on the Range Rover Sport SUV and features exterior enhancements from the Urban Automotive company. Previously, the brand has also presented modified avatars of Rolls-Royce and other Range Rover cars. Talking about the specs, Urban Automotive has left the power unit untouched. The Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack features a 4.4-litre V8 mild hybrid engine that is capable of churning out a peak power output of 635 hp, which is more than the 617 hp offered by the standard Sport SV. Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack The detailing company has brought some major changes for the Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack. The sinister avatar of the Sport SUV gets a new design package that includes carbon fibre used for mirror caps, a carbon fibre bonnet with a "power dome", redesigned front bumper, and an exposed carbon fibre grille. On the rear, it features a new spoiler, diffuser, and carbon fibre bumpers. The brand has enhanced the aggressive appeal with extended wheel arches. It has installed carbon fibre-backed Recaro front seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel with carbon effects, and XRS branding on the dashboard. The detailing and exterior overhaul give the Range Rover Sport an aggressive stance. However, the heavy use of carbon fibre has given it a hefty price. The Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack is priced at Euro 199,995 which is around Rs 2 crore.
