Rajkumar Kewalramani Girls' College celebrates Independence Day with enthusiasm

Nagpur: The Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Rajkumar Kewalramani Girls' College, Jaripatka. The event was held in the august presence of college management president Prof Vijay Kewalramani, principal Dr Urmila Dabir, Neelam Ahuja, Kailash Kewalramani, Rashmi Wadhwani, Richa Kewalramani, Varsha Shende and Madhu celebrations included flag hoisting, the national song, cultural performances and patriotic presentations, which filled the atmosphere with a spirit of nationalism.
In his address, Prof Vijay Kewalramani said that freedom was earned through the sacrifices of great leaders and freedom fighters, and therefore, August 15 serves as a reminder of our duties and responsibilities. Neelam Ahuja urged students to shoulder their responsibilities towards society, while Dr Urmila Dabir emphasised that women's empowerment should be regarded as a matter of pride. Kailash Kewalramani described Independence Day as a golden chapter in India's history.
The programme was conducted by Preeti Tibude, while Suresh Muddumwar proposed a vote of thanks.
