Sia, 49, Holds Hands With Reality TV Alum Harry Jowsey, 28, Ahead of His ‘Let's Marry Harry' Show
Sia and Harry Jowsey's apparent friendship is something of a surprise — even to Us. Sia, 49, was spotted hanging out with Jowsey, 28, on Saturday, July 19, while enjoying a meal at Ca Del Sole in Los Angeles. In photos obtained by Us Weekly, the duo held hands during the outing. The 'Chandelier' singer looked casually cool in a black two-piece with a matching blazer and leopard-print ankle boots. For glam, Sia wore her signature platinum locks in two braids. Jowsey, for his part, sported an olive blazer with coordinating slacks and oversized sunglasses. While neither Sia (full name Sia Kate Isobelle Furler) nor Jowsey have detailed their friendship, the reality TV alum is gearing up to search for The One. Netflix announced earlier this week that Jowsey, best known for stints on Too Hot to Handle, Perfect Match and Dancing With the Stars, will lead a new docuseries titled Let's Marry Harry. Harry Jowsey and 'Dancing With the Stars' Partner Rylee Arnold's Quotes About Their Bond 'I'm looking forward to doing this alongside one of my best friends, Alex Cooper. She is a big sister to me, and I know she'll help me to not be a silly sausage while keeping me grounded,' Jowsey said in a statement shared with Tudum, referring to show producer Cooper, 30. 'I haven't necessarily been the best at keeping relationships, but I knew if I was going to give love one last shot after all the work I've been putting into myself, I'd need Alex to help keep me in check while searching for a potential future wife.' Jowsey previously told Us Weekly what he was looking for in a romantic partner. 'I love my friends, but I'm over them. I just want to have a girlfriend and grow old together and be us and have a little family and just have someone that I can build with and grow with,' Jowsey exclusively told Us in May 2024. 'There's nothing better than having your best friend, your lover with you.' 'Too Hot to Handle' Alum Harry Jowsey Calls Skin Cancer Diagnosis 'A Rude Awakening' He added, 'Being in a relationship is so special, and I really missed that feeling. Hopefully one day. The premise of [my 'Boyfriend Material' podcast] is to grow together and to learn to become boyfriend material. I'm a work in progress.' Jowsey hoped that, through his podcast, he could both get and give advice about dating and relationships. 'Hopefully, I can get married, and then it turns into daddy advice,' he quipped to Us. Sia, for her part, has been single since March, when she filed for divorce from husband Dan Bernard. The now-exes, who share a baby named Somersault Wonder, married in 2022. Sia is also mom to two teenagers, whom she adopted in 2019 after they aged out of the foster care system.

Weekend for the arts: 'Persiapan Seorang Aktor' theatre, Jemimah Wei KL tour
THEATRE: 'PERSIAPAN SEORANG AKTOR' Venue: Nero Event Space, PJPAC, 1 Utama Shopping Mall Date: ends July 20 Fresh off winning two Boh Cameronian Arts Awards earlier this year - including Best Original Script (for Saat Omar) - Persiapan Seorang Aktor returns this weekend in a new staging by Mask Team and director Syahrul Musa. The Bahasa Malaysia production takes the stage at Nero, PJPac. The 90-minute production features Aloy Paradoks and Fazleena Hishamuddin, joined by acclaimed actor-director Nam Ron for this new run. The play tells the story of a gifted actor whose obsession with greatness slowly eats him alive. Determined to become not just Malaysia's best but the greatest the world has ever seen, he dives into acting with almost religious fervour - quoting theory, living the method, and eventually slipping into isolation, burnout, and depression. At the heart of this unraveling is Nina, his wife, whose quiet devotion brings brief moments of warmth and clarity. Persiapan is both a love letter to the art of acting and a cautionary tale about ego, ambition, and the hidden cost of chasing perfection. Threaded with nods to Hamlet and moving between tragedy and dry humour, the play offers a raw, compelling look at an artist on the edge - and a reminder that even noble dreams can take their toll. Audiences have responded warmly, but if you're hoping to see it, better act fast - only a few nights remain. More info here. THEATRE: 'US A JOURNEY OF LOVE, LOSS & BELONGING' Venue: Pentas 2, KLPac Date: ends July 20 When the lights dim in Us: A Journey Of Love, Loss & Belonging, two characters step onto a bare stage. There's no physical intimacy, no grand gestures, no swelling music – just raw, deliberate dialogue as they try to understand each other and themselves. Written and directed by Fa Abdul, Us is playing at Pentas 2, KLPac in Kuala Lumpur this weekend (July 19 and 20). The play, which made its debut in Penang last month, doesn't promise fairytale endings. Instead, it offers something far more rare: honesty. Starring actors Karam Tabba (a Syrian-born performer) and Lauren Tan (a lawyer, writer, tutor), the play follows Mark and Anna – two emotionally guarded souls bound by deep connection and deeper fear. Ivan Gabriel, a Penang-based artist, actor, and curator, makes a special appearance. As Mark and Anna navigate the tension between closeness and self-preservation, they must confront the emotional walls they've built - can love bridge the gap, or will fear pull them apart? Us is presented by Big Nose Productions and KLPac. More info here. JEMIMAH WEI KL BOOK TOUR Venue: various KL bookstores Date: July 19 and 20 Don't miss out on the chance to meet US-based Singaporean author Jemimah Wei as she visits several bookstores across Kuala Lumpur this weekend: Books Kinokuniya KLCC (July 19), Tsutaya Books Pavilion Bukit Jalil (July 19) and MPH Bookstores The Exchange TRX (July 20). After book tours in the US, Britain and Singapore, Wei is now bringing her newly released debut novel The Original Daughter to Malaysian readers. The book - a project that took the 33-year-old writer over a decade to complete and publish - traces the making and unravelling of family ties against the backdrop of turn-of-the-millennium Singapore. From hiding childhood secrets in biscuit tins to grappling with millennial coming-of-age anxieties, join Wei as she dives into her debut novel and answers questions from readers. More info here. Photo: The Star/Chan Tak Kong EXHIBITION: PANGROK SULAP's 'THE SOUND OF SALIENCE' Venue: Tali Art Gallery, Petaling Jaya Date: ends July 20 It's the last weekend to catch the exhibition at Tali Art Gallery, showcasing Sabahan collective Pangrok Sulap's bold woodcut works - from pieces dating back to 2017 to a newer series developed in Hong Kong. Renowned for using art as a vehicle for social commentary, the collective's works serve as a bridge between communities and pressing issues like climate change, land rights, cultural identity, and sovereignty. Wells Adams Compares Dale Moss' ‘Bachelor in Paradise' Love Interest Kat Izzo to Clare Crawley
Dale Moss returned to Bachelor Nation for another shot at love — but will history end up repeating itself? During the July 7 premiere of Bachelor in Paradise, Dale, 36, went on a date with Kat Izzo and based on the teaser for the season, the twosome's relationship will continue to develop. While Kat, 29, previously appeared on season 27 of The Bachelor and got engaged to John Henry on season 9 of BiP, fans saw Dale for a handful of episodes on season 16 of The Bachelorette, during which he got engaged to Clare Crawley less than two weeks into production. With both Clare (who appeared on five different Bachelor shows) and Kat being known for the dramatics, Paradise bartender Wells Adams thinks Dale could be in trouble. "You're surprised that the hottest person on the beach found the other hottest person on the beach and decided to make out together? No one has ever seen this happen! Listen, I'm happy for Dale,' Wells, 41, recently told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. 'I think he deserves a really good shot at this. His initial, like, foyer into The Bachelor world was weird. It was much different than anybody, anybody else's. Now what's funny is that Clare was ... fun and Kat's fun. So he might have a little bit of a type." Dale Moss Explains His Return to 'The Bachelor' Franchise: 'I Wanted to Give Up Control' When Us pointed out that fans see in the trailer that Kat has a 'bit of a meltdown,' Wells replied, "And how many meltdowns do we see Clare have? This is now happening where I'm like, 'Oh yeah, this is a pattern.'" (Never forget Clare and that raccoon!) Hannah Brown, who joined the season in a 'Paradise Relations' role, also acknowledged Kat brought some dramatics to Costa Rica. 'Kat is a very different version of Kat from last season, but that does not mean that there will not be quite a few tears. She didn't change that much — [but] she's grown,' Hannah, 30, told Us. 'I know for Kat, she's a little apprehensive about doing this whole experience again and so I just loved talking to her to be able to, like, put herself out there. And equally with Dale. He has a very unique experience unlike anyone else in this franchise. It was shocking, but a pleasant surprise to see him hit the beach.' Clare Crawley's Dating History: A Guide to Her Bachelor Nation Romances and Beyond Hannah added, 'I'm just really rooting for both of them to have a happy new experience this time on the beach.' Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.

Singer James Bay tells his Scottish fans THIS during his TRNSMT set
Singer James Bay told his Scottish fans, 'when you sing, it sounds beautiful,' during his storming set at TRNSMT music festival, which officially kicked off today. The flattery got him everywhere from the get-go as the crowd sang in unison to his hits If You Ever Want to Be in Love and Us - and it did sound beautiful. The 34-year-old then beamed: 'That's the TRNSMT festival I know, yes.' (Image: James Bay plays TRNSMT Music Festival in Glasgow 2025. Picture by Gordon Terris.) The atmosphere ramped up further for the 2014 hit Let It Go as his vocals sent goosebumps through the festival site. The star admitted that he last played the festival in 2018, and judging by the reaction from the crowd, TRNSMT had waited too long for that Bay magic. His voice is incredible. Raspy, soulful, and packed with prowess, it's unmistakable. (Image: James Bay plays TRNSMT Music Festival in Glasgow 2025. Picture by Gordon Terris.) Wearing his signature hat, he said: 'How you doing? Really good to be here. Thanks for having us back!' ‘Bachelor in Paradise' Season 10 Premiere Recap: 4 ‘First Round Picks' Are Sent Home
After taking last summer off, Bachelor in Paradise is back — with a twist. ABC kicked off season 10 of BiP on Monday, July 7, with a three-hour premiere that introduced a new resort, quick connections and several eliminations. Us breaks it all down, with some insight from host Jesse Palmer, bartender Wells Adams and the new addition of 'Paradise Relations' Hannah Brown. The Changes The new look of Paradise is jarring (in a good way!) with the camera quality raising the bar, and making Us do a double take that we aren't watching Love Island. 'Love Island stole our idea! So I'm so sorry that we stole your cameras. You stole the IP, we just stole the technology to make it look like that,' Wells quipped to Us. Wells Adams Says 'Everything' Fans Think They Know About 'Bachelor in Paradise' Is 'About to Change' While the resort — complete with air conditioning and a swim-up bar — seems to be a hit, it didn't take long for the new climate to interfere with production as a storm cancels Justin and Lexi's date. "I have to be honest with you, I do not think that we are gonna film Paradise in Costa Rica in May again, that was monsoon season," Wells admitted to Us. "And we probably should not do that … you see in the first episode, it affects the show a lot." (Us can confirm the storms in Costa Rica were no joke — and come with no warning.) The premiere also introduced the idea that compatibility games will be incorporated into the season, with the supertease at the end of the episode showing physical (and almost Survivor-esque?) competitions too. Jesse also dropped a cryptic tease to the cast — 'We hope to offer our best and our strongest couples a life-changing opportunity' — that may be related to the $500,000 bag of money briefly shown in the trailer?! 'There's more twists and turns coming,' Jesse teased to Us. The Initial Connections After naming each other in respective interviews with Us as the person they hoped to see on the show, Jess and Spencer got their wish – and quickly sealed their connection with the first kiss of Paradise. While she was briefly interested in Sam M. in the premiere, Jess ultimately picked Spencer. 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 10 Cast Revealed With 'Housewives'-Style Taglines "I saw it pretty instantly that they have this connection and they really got along from the get-go," Hannah told Us. "I feel like Spencer's one of those people [who] really knows he wants something and he's completely locked in. But Jess has had harder relationships in her past, so being able to date someone like Spencer and see if that's actually what she wants, it's really interesting kind of seeing her navigate that through the season. They're both really great people and watching both their love stories is going to be really sweet." While Dale was a hot commodity when he first arrived — on a yacht! – he took Kat on a date. The twosome hit it off and based on the trailer, their relationship will give Us plenty to talk about. "She definitely has her eye on Dale," Jesse told Us. "[Dale's arrival] was women's swooning and men nervous." After a quick love triangle between Jeremy, Kyle and Bailey, she picked Jeremy at the rose ceremony. Other initial pairings include Lexi and Justin, Zoe and Brian and Jonathan and Alexe. The Exits With the women in power, there are four men — Sam, Hakeem, Kyle and Ricky — dumped, err eliminated (oops, reminder that we're not watching Love Island!) in the premiere. Hakeem and Ricky, for their parts, sealed their fates when they got into a fight during the first 'game' about identifying your own red flags. When Ricky suggested that Hakeem wrote 'vanilla' answers — seemingly to ensure less red stickers? — things escalated. The argument, which turned into the two men fighting over the definition of calling something vanilla, confused Us and their fellow beachgoers. Wells Adams Hopeful for Age-Gap Romances on 'BiP': 'Look at Bill Belichick,' Jesse Palmer Reacts When asked about the four men who went home, Jesse told Us: "That's a lot of first round picks. It was surprising to a lot of people. It's hard to single anybody out, but what I appreciate about the producers is they just let reality happen and they let reality be reality. Whoever goes home goes home." Jesse believes that there "are a lot of shows" that might have producers step in to "make sure a certain person stays on a little bit longer because you have a plan or you think it's gonna boost ratings," but that wasn't the case this year on BiP. "I feel like there was a concerted effort to just hands off. If it happens, it happens. And listen, being at the rose ceremonies, there were times where I, my own mind thought, 'Don't send him home. Are we really gonna lose him?'' he said. Wells, meanwhile, was disappointed to see Jenn Tran's villain, Sam M., gone so soon. 'I really wanted to see Sam because Paradise is such a redemptive story for a lot of people. I feel like he deserved it,' Wells said. 'Yeah, he said, 'the main thing was the main thing' too much and had that bad radio date [on Jenn's season], but he [also] called out Devin and no one believed him and he was kind of right. I feel like he deserved better than that. He's really handsome and has a cool story and isn't a guy, like, selling stuff on Instagram. He has a business. I was rooting for him.' Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
