One killed in Redwood Road crash near Utah Lake
SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah () — Redwood Road was shut down in both directions on Tuesday afternoon after a car rolled over near Utah Lake.
The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. on July 8, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety. A grey Audi sedan was driving northbound toward Saratoga Springs on Redwood Road when the driver 'failed to negotiate a turn' in the roadway. The Audi ran off the road, went through a fence and rolled.
Airmed and local officers responded to the scene and started life-saving measures on the driver, but unfortunately, he died due to injuries.
The driver, who was the sole occupant in the car, has not been identified.
