Christ Church College wins cricket tournament
Kanpur: Utkarsh Tiwari's impressive all-round performance, scoring 34 runs and taking 2 wickets, helped Christ Church College to defeat Sir Padampat Singhania Sports Academy by 9 wickets and secure victory in the district junior boys cricket tournament, which concluded at Green Park stadium on Saturday.
Sir Padampat Singhania Sports Academy, after being invited to bat, managed a total of 74 runs in 15 overs. Vansh Nigam was the main scorer with 33 runs. In response, Christ Church College scored 75 runs in 11.4 overs, with Utkarsh Tiwari contributing 34 runs.

Football—Selection trials for district and divisional level women senior football team will be held at Green Park stadium on July 29. The divisional level team will participate in the state championship, scheduled to be held at Varanasi from August 1 to 6.
According to regional sports officer, Green park, Bhanu Pratap, interested players should bring their birth certificate and Aadhar card at the time of trial.
