Al Mohannadi leads ATTF delegation at meet with Uzbek Olympic Committee
In a new step toward developing table tennis in Central Asia, a high-level delegation from the Asian Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) held a strategic meeting with leaders of the Uzbek National Olympic Committee (NOC) on the sidelines of the 29th Asian Youth Championship currently underway in Tashkent. The Asian delegation was headed by Khalil Al Mohannadi, President of the Asian Table Tennis Federation and First Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation, and was accompanied by Nabil Al Faqih, Executive Director of the Federation, and Abdullah Al Mulla, Board Member. They were received by Otabek Umarov, First Vice President of the Uzbek National Olympic Committee. During the meeting, several important topics were discussed aimed at advancing the development of table tennis in Uzbekistan and the region. These included enhancing the qualifications of local coaches and referees, attracting foreign technical expertise, expanding the hosting of international tournaments, and implementing comprehensive programs to increase the game's popularity locally through community initiatives and grassroot level programs.
